The Infinite Tsukuyomi

We teleported next to Naruto and stood face-to-face with Madara.

I ran straight to Kakashi Sensei. I grabbed his hand and transferred some of my chakra to him. once I had given him enough, I let go and looked at him. "Can you use your Kamui to transport me to this other space?"

He nodded. Turning back to look at Sasuke one last time, I watched as the space around me shifted. And before I knew it, Sakura and Obito were in front of me.

I saw Sakura holding a kunai in front of Obito's eye. She was shaking. "Hurry up and destroy my Rinnegan," Obito said. "I can't hold off Black Zetsu any longer". She was struggling so much.

"I'll do it," I butted it, walking towards them.

I positioned my kunai right in front of his eye. I took a deep breath to stop from shaking. As I was about to complete the task, the space opened up and Madara peeked through. I diverted my kunai towards him, but before I could make the move, Madara had sent an attack towards me.

I teleported out of the way just in time. To protect Sakura, I had Obito send her back to our world.

Madara stepped forward and held Obito by Black Zetsu. "You did exactly what I intended you to do, even exceeding my hopes," Madara admitted, chuckling. "A curled seal tag that was meant to turn you into a puppet, one that would restrict your movements should you try to remove it from inside the body that it's implanted in. Looks like you knew about them, Obito, about the cursed tags I implanted in the two of you. Naturally, you couldn't have killed yourselves either, since you both were my precious pawns. Call it fate or karma, but it's ironic how the wo you ended up getting rid of them in the exact same way".

Obito's eyes widened in realisation. "Rin..." So, Madara was the one responsible for the death of the woman he loved.

"Alright, that's enough," I cut in, drawing their attention.

I used my Rinnegan to switch places with Obito and managed to cut Madara deeply with my sword, causing him to let go.

I looked at Madara with a smirk. "The funny thing is people tend to admit everything when they think they're going to win".

Narrowing his eyes at me, he jumped forward to attack me, but I evaded the attack and with a single touch, managed to teleport him back to the battlefield.

I then turned and walked towards Obito. He stared at me with wide eyes, as if wondering what I would do next.

His eyes widened even more as I knelt down next to him and started healing him. He was still staring at me. "Why are you doing this? Why are you trying so hard to save me, after everything I've done?"

I raised an eyebrow at him. "Would you rather I leave you for dead?" When he didn't answer, I sighed. "Because everyone deserves a second chance, even you. I believe you are a good person deep down, and I want to get to know you. Not as the man that made my life difficult the past three years, but as Obito Uchiha of the Leaf. And I believe you can be that person again, or even a better version". I stood up and extended a hand towards him. "But for now, can you help me fight for my home and the people I care about?"

He gave a small smile and reached his hand out towards mine. But before our hands could connect, the space opened next to us and Madara jumped out. I jumped backwards to avoid him and suddenly felt myself getting warped away as I appeared back on the battlefield.

Sakura, Naruto and Sasuke ran up to me. "What happened?" they asked.

I placed my hands over my face and groaned in frustration. "I couldn't save him! I was so close!"

They opened their mouths to speak but before anything could come out, Madara Uchiha appeared with both of his Rinnegans and Obito, who looked like he was no longer in control of his own body.

Sakura charged ahead, intent on creating an opening for us, but was stopped by Madara's shadow. I jumped up and saved her. Madara took off to the sky, and created multiple Planetary Devastations, having them fall from the sky. Naruto, Sasuke and I moved in to destroy them, while Naruto's clones dealt with Madara's new shadows. In the sky, Madara removed the plating from his forehead, revealing a third eye. The eye opened, and was reflected on the moon, casting the Infinite Tsukuyomi.

Immediately, Sasuke and I grabbed our teammates and activated our Susanoos, shielding us from the bright light of the Infinite Tsukuyomi.
