Unknown romance (Craigson)

The song at the top is what inspired me to write this.

King Xavier, the bratty kid who ruled the creek after the council agreed to his side of the creek coming to their side not knowing how much of a monster him and his champions were. Then, there were two other creek kids Jason of the Junior Forest Scouts and Craig Williams the map maker of the creek. Both had two things in common, wanting to get King Xavier and the other siders out the creek and crushing hard each other.

Jason and Craig had already been dating a few days before Xavier came, the two couldn't help but blush madly at each others presence. But now with trying to get rid of Xavier, the two couldn't show any signs of them loving each other.

"I got it!"Craig beamed with joy after a few moments of brainstorming, "You finally got an idea?"Kelsey asked looking up at Craig now after sometime of planning out ways to stop Xavier bit by bit. "Yep, so, what I was thinking what we could do to stop Xavier is, we could get a creek kid to spy on Xavier and get info out of him"Craig explained drawing out the plan on a separate piece of paper. "That's a good plan...But who are we gonna get to spy on Xavier?"Kelsey asked thinking of the logics, "A little someone"Craig winked then called Jasons phone number, "Hello?"Jason answered from the other side of the phone. "Jason, I think I have a plan on how we could stop Xavier, just come to my house and we'll explain"Craig said from over the phone then hung up.

When Jason got to Craigs house, Craig explained everything he wanted Jason to do. Jason was surprised Craig thought he would be a good choice but knew he would be a good spy. "So, you in?"Craig grinned brightly waiting for Jasons answer, Jason returned the smile then nodded hopping onto Craig to give him a hug. "Of course...Craig you know I love you...And I love the creek almost as much as you"Jason smiled cupping Craigs face giving him a comforting look. Craig blushed and smiled back at his boyfriend, "I know...But while you're a spy for Xaviers side, there might be some problems...No one from the other side can know me and you are dating, it'll blow the whole thing and Xavier won't be happy"Craig confirmed.

Jason knew Craig was right, if they even looked at, touched or thought about each other in a way Xavier would be angry about one of them might get hurt in someway, whether it be mentally, emotionally or physically. "Okay...No romance while I'm spying"Jason sighed still cupping Craigs face. "One kiss before we have to pretend to hate each other?"Craig teased, Jason giggled then made his and Craigs lips touch. "Wish me luck, tomorrow..."Jason sighed, "Don't worry, Xavier doesn't know we're dating so he won't say no to you 'converting' to his side"Craig confirmed then waved bye to Jason.

Time skip

Time went by slowly, everything was going as planned. Jason was able to keep what he felt about Craig inside until his spying was done and Craig was able to resist his urges to be with Jason. One day, Jason had to write some notes for Xavier and in the distance he noticed Craig. Jason thought Craig looked just admirable, until his thoughts were interrupted when Xavier grabbed him by his wrist away from Craig. "Jason, I saw how you look at that Craig kid. *Sighs* Look, I'll let you off with a warning but I don't want any disloyalty going on here, understood?"Xavier ordered in a serious tone holding Jason by his wrist walking him away from Craig. Jason nodded looking at his shoes as he walked, "That Craig boy has got to be your biggest mistake..."Xavier rolled his eyes then let Jason walk off by himself.

"Wait a go, Jason...You almost blew it, you can't cause any problems...Craig might get hurt"Jason thought to himself then walked off. He loved Craig and that was something he wasn't afraid of admitting, but right now admitting it was suicide. So, the only option now was to dip a toe to denying his love for Craig especially with Xavier or Maya.

Later that day, Jason returned to Craigs house to say what he learned about what the other side was up to again. Craig was surprised at how much info Jason got then wrote it down in his notebook to report back to the other creek kids also ready to take down Xavier. As Craig was finishing up writing down the information, he noticed something was up with Jason, "What's wrong, Jason?"Craig asked, Jason looked at Craig finally and made eye contact with him. "Oh...Well, I just can't believe us dating would be considered a problem...When Xavier saw you smiled at me, he scolded you and I felt like I got you trouble back there, I never met it really"Jason apologized.

Craig put his pencil down and acknowledged how upset Jason was, Craig then kissed Jasons cheek hoping to make him feel better. "Hey, don't beat yourself up about it you didn't get me in trouble at all! Once Xavier is out this creek, we can be happy together in peace"Craig comforted, Jason smiled having a switch in his mood. Jason then got on his knees and wrapped his arms around Craig, hugging him closely. "Thank you, Craig...I'm just glad you don't see me as a problem..."Jason sighed, Craig blushed beaming with joy then hugged Jason back. "No problem, scout".

Time Skip

After sometime, Xavier saw that Jason was no longer interacting with Craig. So Xavier rewarded him by promoting Jason to 'Buddy' and inviting him to his royal sleepover. Now, there was a new thing Jason had to report back to Craig, how he was gonna fit him in his bag for the sleepover.

"You cramped in there?"Jason asked before zipping the zipper to his bag, "I'm fine, zip it up, baby"Craig joked. Jason snickered at Craigs joke then zipped the zipper, it was finally the day of Xaviers royal sleepover also the day Craig would offer Xavier a winner takes all capture the flag war to truly get Xavier out the creek. "Let's hope this works..."Jason sighed looking back at Craig in his bag then walked out his home.

Time Skip

"What do you mean you don't want to fight in the war?!"

Xavier angrily spat while Jason sat still keeping a clam and unfearful face, "Xavier, I'm done with this my decision is final. You treat everyone here like trash, I'm surprised you're even upset about me leaving, you don't care about me. I'm not stupid"Jason blankly said getting up, anger boiled Xaviers blood by the second. Jason not wanting to continue being apart of his side of the creek felt like a spit to the face, but Jason couldn't care less. "You're MY acorn knight! I'm your king! And I order you to be in that war!"Xavier shouted, but that caused the same amount of anger to fill in Jason.

"I belong to no one! You were never my king!"Jason screamed, sooner or later, screaming and fighting was only heard from Xavier and Jasons 'conversation'.

Eventually, Xavier was getting tired of the arguing and grabbed Jason by his shirt collar. "You ungrateful little brat...When you were still apart of Craigs side, the creek kids couldn't care less about you, if you were dying right in front of them they wouldn't care, they wouldn't be the ones calling 911, they'll laugh at you and walk pass you!"Xavier scolded angrily pointing his finger in Jasons face.

"I'm done with this game..."Jason thought to himself, then, Jason bit Xaviers finger that was pointing towards him with his teeth so hard he was surprised he didn't bite it off. "Ah! You bit me! What is wrong with you?!"Xavier yelled then looked in disbelief at the finger Jason bit then Jason who he had dropped. "That's a question you should ask yourself"Jason glared with his voice full of hate then walked away from Xavier now that hearing Xaviers voice made Jason sick. "Hearing him talk made me want to throw up anyways..."Both Xavier and Jason said to themselves in their heads ready for the capture the flag war in two days.

Time Skip

"He actually did it..."Jason thought to himself after Beth the timekeeper blew her sousaphone as a signal the capture the flag war was done and the results were here.

Craigs side had won the war, no more Xavier, no more avoiding Craig. Jason could just be happy with Craig without anyone saying a word to them, "Craig! You did it! Xavier is gone!"Jason cheered hopping onto Craig with his arms wrapped around him tight. Craig smiled at Jasons joy, he had never seen Jason so happy to actually hug him. "We did it, Jason..."Craig sighed hugging Jason back, knowing they wouldn't be having any problems with Xavier anytime soon.
