The song at the top is what inspired me to write this. Also, Jason and Craig are 17 in this.
Jason slowly opened his eyes, he blinked and looked around when the blurriness stopped and he could fully understand his surroundings. He saw a seatbelt crossing his body and he was seated, he saw he was in a vehicle and he looked to see who's vehicle it was.
When he saw who was in the driver's seat Jason was starting to think he should've known he's in his boyfriend's car. Craig was focused on the road as Jason was just simply seated there. "Oh, you're awake"Craig said seeing Jason had woken up, "If you're wondering what happened, we were at Kits party and let's just say you partied hard so while you were out I put you in the car, don't worry you didn't do anything embarrassing".
"Oh...Hey, Craig can you put on some music?"Jason requested, "Sure"Craig smiled just when a red light came on and Craig had to stop the car, he turned on the radio to his and Jason's favorite station and the music played. (The song at the top is the song that's playing).
The music was the only sound in the car, it was nice. It had been awhile since music was the only thing Jason relaxed to, but as Jason relaxed to the music the more he started to notice he was relating to this song. Lately, his home isn't feeling like his home. This has been a feeling since he was young. His parents were working late hours and recently his fathers workplace has been understaffed so he had to work overtime. He felt lonely when he had to go home, but that was not all. Jason had gotten into an argument with both his parents and two against one never goes good, they were arguing about how Jason was struggling with one of his classes unfortunately his parents were stressing about work so they didn't have the best communication with their son.
"Jason, me and your mother cannot understand, how are you failing this class?!"
"I-I don't know..."
"Well you'll know if you weren't always with your boyfriend, Craig! You're still in school you should be focusing on your studies not some boy!"
"Dad, leave Craig out of this! He did nothing!"
"Jason, please try to reason with us we just want what's best for-"
"No you don't! Mom, dad If you don't like Craig just say it, I'm not a little kid! Just say it you were lying when you said you approved of Craig when I brought him home when I was 11! You guys are always working to leave me alone 24/7 then suddenly you want to be involved when I'm not doing something right! Just get over the fact I'll never bring a girl home!"
"Dear, we do approve of Craig-"
"Stop lying dad!"
"Jason you will not call me a liar-"
"Well what do you want me to call you?! Not a truther cause I'll be a liar too! What about all those times you said you'll stop being busy in a few days, a few months now it's been 12 years!"

But that was only three days ago, due to Jason still being mad he's been treating both his parents the way they treated him through his childhood. He started to isolate himself in his bedroom and if he needed help for homework he just stayed longer hours at school for help as well as speaking little to no words to them.
"C-Craig..."Jason finally spoke after such silence, "I don't think I wanna go home...Or ever...".
"Why'd you say that?"Craig asked, Jason swallowed and explained the argument that happened between him and his parents. The car was filled with Jason venting and no longer the music, Craig had turned it off to be respectful to his lover as he spoke. Then, Jason was done talking. Craig sighed and turned his car around, he was originally driving Jason home but after what Jason said he didn't want to make his boyfriend uncomfortable. "Jason, I'm taking you somewhere else. You clearly need some space from your parents they hurt you, they've kinda been hurting you for a very long time by leaving you to be a latchkey kid, I'm sure they don't mean to be this way, but who am I to judge"Craig said with one hand on the wheel and the other around Jason.
"You're really important to me, Jason...And I'm sure you're important to your parents but you're not terrible, your parents do owe you an apology..."Craig sighed. Craig gave Jason words of encouragement and love and Jason loved it. He got so wrapped up in what was being said by the love of his life that he forgot where Craig was even driving currently until he stopped in front of some place. "Where are we, Craig?"Jason asked as Craig unbuckled his seatbelt "Somewhere away from your parents"Craig said as he unbuckled Jasons seatbelt for him then they both got out the car. Craig walked Jason to where he drove to, and Jason got a better understanding on where he let his boyfriend take him.
It was the old creek they met at when they were young, it was even the place they fell in love, confessed and had their first date. "Remember when we had our first date and we danced together just when the sun was setting?"Craig asked as Jasons head flashed to all the memories he made at the creek, he nodded at Craigs question. "Well, how about we repeat history, the good history. Dance with me, Jason"Craig said then put his hand out for Jason to grab. Jason didn't stare at Craigs hand for no more than two seconds before grabbing it and smiling, Craig put on some music to dance to and they both danced together at the creek as the fireflies, moths and ladybugs started flying around them.
(Music they're dancing to)

After a few hours, Craig drove Jason to his (Craigs) house to spend the night due to Jasons parents. Craig and Jason climbed in bed together and Jason wrapped his arms around Craig with his cheek on Craigs back, "Hey, Craig...Thank you for taking me somewhere better..."Jason mumbled. "You're welcome, and I love you Jason..."Craig said, "I love you too...".
