Mashup at the top is what inspired me to write this.

Date night, the words just rolled off Jason and Craig's tongues as they looked at themselves in the mirror. Jason looked at his bow tie in Craig's bathroom and the nice outfit he picked out for himself, just when he was finished getting his shoes on Craig knocked on the door. "Can I come in?"Craig asked. "You can..."

Craig swung the door open excitedly jumping in the bathroom where Jason was standing in front of the mirror, "You ready?!". Jason was almost laughing, right before their date Jason thought it wouldn't hurt to joke with Craig."Aww, I'm sorry I just need one minute to make sure I look good, do you think I look good Craig?"Jason turned around to Craig.

Craig's face lit up with blush but smiled and put his arm around Jason. "You always look good, now c'mon before it gets busy out there".

They end up walking there since it wasn't too far from Craig's house. Jason used this night alone to be out with Craig, his dad and step mom were having their own date out and they were gonna be out for awhile probably long after Jason has been in bed but his dad and step mom weren't gonna be the only ones that were gonna be out. It wasn't a big deal to go out, Eleanor's stupid chihuahua's were at a friends house so for once those chihuahuas were gonna be off Jason's back. Feeding them their dog food while trying to cook his own food was a pain for Jason and the reason why Jason improved at being a multitasker.

When they arrived they were seated, Jason smirked when Craig put his elbows on the table to look at the menu. The bad manners became nostalgic to Jason for a second, "Hasn't anyone told you to keep your elbows off the table?"Jason teased opening the menu himself referencing to the tea party they attended with the Tea Timers only for it to end in him almost getting his badges cut up, the only thing he had back then. "Oh ho ho, where are my manners?"Craig put his hands up in fake surrender to play along with the teasing.

After deciding what they wanted they chatted for a bit until the waiter came with their drink. The waiter came faster than usual with their drink and got out 2 straws for the both of them, "Oh, milkshake even though we're about to have dinner, rebellious tonight?"Jason joked getting the plastic off his straw "You're one to talk, you went out to be with me on a Monday" "I told you already, my dad and step mom don't care enough to keep me home believe it or not I could go to another state and they wouldn't notice I was gone until my dad needed something to brag about or Eleanor needed someone to feed her bastards for her or she's had a bad day"Jason ranted poking his straw in the chocolate milkshake Craig ordered for them to share.

Craig had a soft but sad look on his face being reminded of how bad Jason had it at home, but he brushed it off and started drinking the chocolate milkshake with his boyfriend. He couldn't wait to grow old enough to move out and see Jason free, living together would be a dream, dates on Mondays like this one, Jason abandoning his last name to finally carry the Williams surname. The thought of changing last names for Craig was a thought Jason couldn't wait to become reality.

Jason and Craig's lips parted from their straws as they heard more people come, "Guess we came at a right time, it's starting to get real busy"Craig sighed just when the waiter came for their orders. For the sake of Craig's wallet, they decided to share the shrimp Alfredo and was just gonna hope the tip afterwards would be acceptable for the waiter. Craig didn't want him or Jason to get spit in their food the next time they came here cause of no tip or a bad one. The waiter took both menus and walked off to give their orders to the chef.

Craig and Jason talked again this time Jason blushing a lot more and panting as if he was running, they were just so focused on each other that they didn't notice more people coming in. Jason didn't even realize he put his elbows on the table as they talked, Craig smirked and pointed. "Who has bad manners now?" "Shut up...".
