Girlfriend (Maya X Sparkle Cadet)

Sparkle Cadet walked to Maya's house early in the morning, her dads have already gone off to work and Maya's brother would be out the house for the day. She thought it would be a nice day to visit her girlfriend, since lately she's been so depressed. Sparkle Cadet knocked on the door of Maya's house and Maya let her in. "Glad you came by, Lacy"Maya sighed then went back to sit on the couch to resume the movie she was watching. Lacy wasn't surprised since usually when she came to Maya's house she was watching movies on tv or on her phone, "What movie you watching now?"Lacy asked sitting next to Maya on the couch "The boy in the striped pajamas, you came right at the beginning so you can watch it with me"Maya said. Lacy scooted more next to Maya to get a look at her eyes, Maya looked so sad, she was never leaving the house or even taking care of her responsibilities like laundry. Lacy couldn't even remember the last time Maya's dirty clothes basket was empty.

But Lacy didn't want to say anything cause she didn't want to sound judgemental, but with Maya always looking so sad Lacy wondered if she did something wrong so she'd buy her flowers in hopes to make up for whatever she did. Maya would always accept the flowers but would always tell Lacy she didn't do anything wrong. But Lacy couldn't stand seeing Maya so sad, isolating herself from the creek.

Time skip

After the movie, Maya helped Lacy do her laundry, Maya felt bad that Lacy was doing her laundry and Maya didn't want Lacy doing all her work so she gathered all her energy to actually clean her clothes. "Thanks for offering to do my laundry, sorry if you feel like you have to take care of all my responsibilities...I've just been feeling so sad about how I wasted three years being mad at my only friend"Maya sighed. "You're welcome, but hey, I don't feel like I'm taking care of your responsibilities I want to help you out..."Lacy reassured. "But also, Maya there's no use of sitting around always having the past on your mind 24/7, I'm sure Omar wants to be friends with you again. Maya please, just try to go out again, it's not healthy to just isolate yourself, I bet Omar is wondering when you'll return to the creek"Lacy said. Maya sat in thought at what her girlfriend said, "Alright, I'll try...".

Time skip

Per usual, Sparkle Cadet made her way to Maya's house and when she knocked on the door Maya was quick to open the door for her and looking more...Happy. "Hey Lacy"Maya greeted then let Spatkle Cadet in "You look happy, really happy..."Lacy noticed and her smiling grew bigger at the sudden mood shift of Maya. "I listened to what you said, I went to creek and participated in a dodge ball match with the champions, I saw Omar there and at first I was a little nervous but we talked and we're on better terms...I shouldn't have spent so much dwelling in the past, also when was the last time I took you out? I just noticed it's been awhile since we went on a date, where you wanna go?"Maya asked getting out gift cards she had for various places.

Lacy was surprised by what Maya said but was happy her girlfriend was doing better now, and honestly with the sun hitting her right she didn't even look half bad.
