Cheerleader

Eliza and Toman are between the ages of middle schoolers and high schoolers. The song, Jealous girl by Lana Del Rey is what inspired me to write this.

The loud cheers of the crowd washed over the basketball players feet running on the court. Toman being one of them, hair in a low ponytail and his girlfriend Eliza ready to cheer him on. As he ran Eliza smiled holding her Pom poms and blew him a kiss to which he pretended to catch.

To Eliza, she always thought they just matched. The jock and cheerleader, the classic couple just required for any middle school or high school you'd attend. There was no denying that type of couple would be there and Eliza was willing to keep that going between them. Her eyes were still on Toman the whole game, he always had a special place in her heart. So that meant, no one wanted to mess with her or Toman.

(Just something, this moment is based off a scene in the movie, Identity theft of a cheerleader. So I didn't completely come up with this)

Eliza sat on the bleachers in the gym with her cheer mates. Toman was going to be playing another basketball game and her cheer coach had an idea. A new assignment is what it was, the cheerleaders had to take a piece of paper out of a hat with the names of the basketball players names written on them. Whoever basketball player the cheerleader got was who they had to cheer for and support until the game came up. "Good morning girls, are you ready to get your cheer buddies assigned?"The coach said and the cheerleaders nodded and said yes.

Eliza hoped she would get Toman, she didn't wanna be stuck with some random guy she didn't know it would be awkward cheering for him when she had a boyfriend on that team. The cheerleaders stepped down from the bleachers to take a slip of paper from the hat one by one until Eliza went down and picked one. Eliza looked at the slip and she turned her nose in annoyed and made the most obvious 'Are you kidding me?' face seeing who she got wasn't Toman. "Who did you get?"A soft voice said from behind Eliza said. She turned around and saw a platinum blonde cheerleader talking to Lacy, aka Sparkle Cadet. Now a cheerleader with Eliza. "Oh, I got Toman!"Sparkle Cadet smiled holding the slip of paper with 'Toman' written on it.

The two girls talked for a few more minutes until the shy platinum blonde walked off to the bathroom, leaving Sparkle on her own and free for Eliza to walk up to. Eliza walked up to Sparkle Cadet once she was alone, "Hey, Lacy, I heard you got Toman as your partner"Eliza spoke holding her small slip of paper. "I did, who did you get?"Sparkle asked in her usual cheerful and happy tone "Someone who isn't Toman...I was thinking we could switch, since me and Toman are dating"Eliza tried to reason. Sparkle Cadet could only open her mouth before the coach came and interrupted their conversation. "Sorry, girls but no switching, you'll just have to cheer for whoever you got. Besides, this assignment is suppose to be fun and support the basketball players before their game"The cheer coach said then walked away from the pinked haired and dark brown haired cheerleaders.

Sparkle Cadet mumbled an awkward 'sorry' before the bell rang and the cheerleaders went to the locker rooms. A jealous glare from Eliza stared at the back of Sparkle Cadet's head as she walked to the locker room. Eliza knew how Sparkle was, she could go all out with her support and make Toman like her. "She'll probably disguise her flirting as support with this assignment...I won't let her get close with Toman"Eliza though to herself walking to the locker room to get out her cheer uniform.

Time skip

Eliza was getting ready to walk out of school, her dad was waiting to pick her up. As she walked down the hallway she saw Lacy in an empty classroom with the platinum blonde cheerleader making pink and glittery decorations for her locker. But, they were for Toman because of the assignment. "She really is going all out..."Eliza said in her head watching Lacy making Toman's name all sparkly. Eliza glared at Sparkle through the window one last time and walked out the school.

Time skip

Eliza heard Sparkle wanting to come to school early for some extra cheer practice before school starting. Eliza learned what time Sparkle wanted to come and came at the same time as Sparkle without her knowing, Eliza watched Sparkle walk into the girls locker room to get into her cheer outfit. When Sparkle was done changing into her uniform Eliza was right there standing in the locker room. "Ah! Eliza, you startled me. I didn't know you were going to get extra cheer practice too"Sparkle said.

"I did, I saw you were really going all out for that cheer assignment"Eliza commented, "Yeah, the coach said to get really supportive-"Sparkle Cadet tried to say but Eliza slid her foot from under Sparkle Cadet and made her fall. Before Lacy could get up Eliza put her foot on Sparkle's back to keep her down "Are you sure you're not just using this assignment as an issue to be flirty with my boyfriend?"Eliza said getting her axe out into Sparkle Cadet's view. Sparkle Cadet's eyes widen and she tried to break free. "No! I was just-"Lacy tried to say but Eliza grew tired and kicked her in the rib. "Shut up, glitter lover".

Sparkle Cadet got up to try to fight back but Eliza pushed Sparkle back and made her fall. Not only that but she hit her head on the bench, "I'll have to clean that up..."Eliza thought in annoyance staring at the blood on the bench from Sparkle's head. Eliza dragged Sparkle Cadet into where the showers were and grabbed Sparkle Cadet by the neck and banged her head against the shower diverter then threw her against to the wall like a rag doll. "Now for the fun"Eliza smiled then stabbed her axe deep into Sparkle Cadet's torso. Eliza bashed it into Sparkle's neck then stabbed her repeatedly getting blood on herself and a little on her uniform. She didn't feel any fear of someone walking into the locker room and seeing the blood, she had locked the door and it was too early for any teachers to come.

Blood over now, so basically Eliza killed Sparkle Cadet in the girls locker room shower.

After Eliza disposed of Sparkle Cadet's lifeless body, cleaned herself and got into the spare cheer outfit she had in her locker. Eliza cleaned her bloody cheer uniform then her poms poms, "She got blood on my pom Pom's..."Eliza thought in annoyance then walked out the locker room.

The next day, Eliza was finally given Toman as a cheer buddy when the school found out Sparkle Cadet had gone missing and Toman no longer had a cheer buddy. Now during her cheer practice, Eliza felt happier knowing Sparkle Cadet was out the way no longer trying to replace Eliza's role as Toman's girlfriend.

Now when the game finally came, Eliza cheered loudly running on that basketball court, Pom Pom's in the air and the spirit in her roaring with the fellow cheerleaders. No one, not a single soul who didn't belong to Eliza knew what she had done before this game. She was a jealous girl, a cheerleader cheering through life and to do anything to be with Toman.
