Flirty! Elder Mark X Female! Reader

The song at the top is what inspired the storyline. Also, super sorry if this isn't the best I've never written a flirty character or made someone act all flirty before.

You were packing your bag after another day at your after school job, but just when you were packing your phone started ring and played a ringtone that made you smile. You knew who it was since you could tell who was calling based on the ringtone, it was your old friend Mark from Herkleston. You had to move three years ago and you and Mark promised to stay in touch by having each others numbers and FaceTiming after you got off work.

You answered your phone and talked to him while walking out the building. Hearing that ringtone from your phone made you smile knowing Mark cared about you enough to call, he was so sweet to have his own ringtone.

Marks POV:Can something just work this time? It's been three years without (Y/N) physically here with me, I used to feel all happy when (Y/N) called me and we'd chat for what seemed like decades but now the more she called the more I felt like I had to accept the fact she wasn't here and well, it hurt...But she can't know I got a little crush on her or something...I don't know this stuff is confusing! So, I've been covering up how much I missed her with flirting, I know how to not make her uncomfortable and what to do but sometimes I feel like she views it as just a joke.

It was always her that I missed and thought about, maybe this call will be good she can tell me about her day at work...I listened to her talk over the phone, it felt pretty nice surprisingly is this what happens when you have a crush? Later the call turned to FaceTime and I could see her face. "Hey, (Y/N), I have a feeling there's something wrong with my eyes..."I began, "Why?"She asked cluelessly but to me it felt cute.

"Because I can't take them off of you"I winked, her cheeks turned red as wine and she burst into laughter. "Oh Mark, you're so funny! This is exactly what I needed after work..."(Y/N) grinned looking into my eyes over her phone screen. "Glad I could hear your voice again...".

The next day

Me and the two other elders were all sitting together at elder rock and these feelings for (Y/N) have grown. I don't think I've ever jumped for joy over a ringtone as much as (Y/N)s when calling me. "David, Barry, do you guys have anyone you just you know...Jump for joy whenever they call you...Like, them calling or texting you would be enough to make you the happiest person on earth do you have someone like that...?"I asked out of the blue. I needed advice to finally say something to (Y/N), but there's only one way of me saying I like her is by her being in front of me without a screen!

"Hmm, I'm not sure, be more specific"David said, "Well, your heart skips a beat just hearing their voice, it's like they live on the moon or something and you wanna be with them so badly but all you have a cell phone and laptop to contact them..."I said. Both David and Barry looked at each other then me, "Mark, I think you're sick..."Barry said, "Lovesick!"David finished Barry's sentence excitedly. Before I could say anything, (Y/N) began to call I could tell by the ringtone. I excused myself and answered (Y/N)s call.

"Heya beauty what's up?"I flirted confidently over the phone, (Y/N) started giggled then finally spoke. "Mark, I have amazing news! I talked with my parents and well, we have enough money to move back to Herkleston!"(Y/N) excitedly cheered...

D-Did I hear that correctly? (Y/N) coming back...? "(Y/N), that's wonderful! Since I can finally see your beauty in person as of now"I joked which made (Y/N) again burst into laughter. When I hung up, I felt butterflies in my stomach... "Was that your crush?"David asked sneaking up on me with Barry, "Ah! David! Don't scare me like that!"I scolded but it faded quicker than usual since (Y/N) was gonna be back.

Time skip

2nd person:You happily skipped off your plane with your parents, you couldn't believe it. You were finally at Herkleston, and you could be with Mark you knew he was waiting for you at the airport so you walked in the airport and saw Mark waiting for you there. "Mark!"You cheered running to him, finally your waiting paid off from waiting to be with him and not giving up hope. Soon, you jumped into his arms happily, "(Y/N)! You're here!"Mark said hugging you tightly, touching his skin felt like heaven since it's been so long without his hugs.

"I know! We can finally be together!"You said, Mark smiled and gave you a more glad but serious look. "Yeah...And since we're together I can finally ask you this..."Mark smiled. "Ask me what?"You asked, he inhaled then exhaled. "(Y/N) (L/N)...Will you go out with me? Three years without you by my side was horrible and I want to know you'll never leave me again..."Mark sighed.

You did a shocked look but pulled him closer to you, "Yes...A million times yes times all the stars..."You smiled then pulled him in for soft and sweet kiss you longed for for so long.
