✧RETURNING TO LONDON✧

Upon arriving back into London, Rhea had felt the return of homesickness. It wasn't often, but she truly wanted to make a mark on a long-term bedroom and Alphard strived for the same.
"What are you thinking about, little goddess?" He questioned and she simply grinned up towards him. "The beach in Spain—It was so warm, I wish it would get like that here." He hummed in agreement, while Rhea did share her love for the colder months—He found that she hadn't experienced true warmth and sunlight that nearly burned her skin, and it nearly broke his heart upon hearing the fact that the only beach she was familiar with was the Black lake at Hogwarts.
Which hadn't counted at all.
In checking into the customs, they were finally welcomed back into the country—And with no need to take the floo system. They simply walked out with their arms linked.
Rhea had grown much more comfortable in apperenting with Alphard, at first she would have to hold back her worries. He wouldn't make it too difficult and usually was in the habit of warning her with a small countdown.
However, because of her excitement to finally be back on familiar turf, she had missed the countdown and nearly toppled onto the ground had it not been Alphard's firm grip.
"Perhaps I should start at five instead of three the next time, hm?" He pondered, and Rhea simply chuckled as she held her head. Yet her eyes flickered from her husband straight to the manor in question, yes it was much more colorful than the dark hues she was used to.
But it wasn't as warm and inviting as his other manors across the globe, though she assumed it was of London's habit of making it bleak and posh.
"Not to worry, it's been due for a remodel for quite some time...Mind you, I've only been back for less than a year or so." Rhea turned up towards him and shook her head. "The house doesn't matter, it's you that matters, Alfie."
He didn't believe her when she hadn't seen the rest. Personally, he thought this manor was similar to the one in Germany, but perhaps just the animosity of being back home was making her nervous?
No matter.
He had escorted her up to the door, and Rhea had nearly forgotten his tradition of picking up into his arms and crossing the threshold. "You're endearingly sweet, you know that?" His smirk had crossed widely over his face as he continued forward into the manor—Leaving Rhea's mind to gaze around.
"I'm still in debate of where I want your pieces to go." She leaned up to kiss his chin. "You'll like this next one, I promise."
"No doubt in that, are you hungry?... We didn't have much time this morning to—" At the mention of food, Becker had popped in right away and offered his services. From there both Rhea and he managed to order a brunch along with some tea, and finally, Rhea had been lowered to her feet and took the first steps into her manor.
This was home base, her sanctuary.
The time before lunch had been the perfect time for Alphard to walk through the manor with his wife. Their honeymoon was now considered over but he still felt just as infatuated with her than before.
Alphard was sure that it was never going to die down anytime soon.
"I've had the elves clean out this room...I thought you would like the little nook by the window." Rhea's eyes had widened at the sight of her designated study, Alphard knew how important her bedroom was—And in the modern times, usually witches would have their own drawing-room.
