"...What on earth happened?! I've gotten a letter from mother and father saying the contract is over?!" Rodolphous' anger had caused him to be more than ignorant of Alphard's position right beside Rhea, and he simply squeezed her hand and nodded.

Once he had managed a bit closer, he allowed himself to see the wizard. And without proper edict or managing to recognize who among the circle it was.

Rodolphous attacked, though Alphard was a very skilled wizard. And he was rarely unprepared, even with his non-dominate hand had he managed to cause the eldest Lestrange son to fly through the hallway.

The future couple had continued forward to the study, Rodolphous hot on their tail. Though Alphard hadn't allowed Rhea to be in the line of fire and thus, she walked ahead of him.

Upon entering the room once more, Radolphous and Clarissa had ordered a bit of tea and done their own conversation. Though upon seeing Radolphous' huffing and puffing, the mother had hurried up from the couch to see what had happened.

"Curious that you take much better care of your sons than Rhea." Alphard dwelled, and the woman huffed. "You haven't got the right to tell me how to raise my children."

"Then tell me, Clarissa. What is Rhea's favorite color?" The question was simple, but the woman remained silent for a moment as thought her answer through.

"Silver."
"Wrong. Radolphous, Rodolphous? Care to take a stab at it?" Rhea hadn't realized just how unheard of she is, and while the two remained silent. Alphard had sighed.

"Rhea, what are their favorite colors?"
"...Mother favorS turquoise, Rodolphous likes forest green and then father fancies Sage green." The scoff had come first from her brother, and Alphard shook his head.

"You're wearing forest green now you twat...What is Rhea's favorite subject?" He questioned, and again, the room remained silent. Though when the question related towards Rhea, she had answered with ease.

"I don't understand how any of this matters...You've ruined the perfect coupling for my sister."

"She hasn't been your sister or daughter for the longest of times! You've gone to side with Dolohov more times than I can count, and the both of you haven't said one kind thing about her since I can remember!" Rhea had felt her head hang low, peering down to look at her shoes as though they were interesting.

This conversation was too much to bare, but the wake-up call she deserves.

"Dolohv isn't heartbroken about his wife's untimely death, he's done it because his mistresses banded together and constructed a lie that the child was not his...He's only in this for Rhea's dowery. Did you know about your friend's debt?"
"Antonio isn't in any debt, you're a liar! A liar and a theft."
"And you're a sorry excuse of a man. Taking your anger out on your sister. She confided in you and you threw common sense out the window!" Rhea trembled at the voice Alphard was hiding for situations like this, she had indeed seen that scowl before.

"In debt?... Do you know how much your sister's dowery is? It's 150% more than the average amount a future husband is offered. Which makes me wonder if you knew about his debt, Radolphous?" Clarissa had been the blessing in disguise, knowing full well that a husband is meant to balance the fiancing—And if all the money is going on leisure spending for whore...For Dolohov's Mistresses, that wouldn't be a life for her daughter.

The guilt was seen on the mother of three, but as she turned off towards her eldest. She smacked him upside the head. "Did you or did you not tell your sister she deserved it."

"That was after I saw them shagging in the New Years' party." It was as if his excuse had gone one ear and out the other, but in the realm of a women who had been in the same situation.
