✧SEEKER IN THE MAKING✧

◊━━━━━✥━━━━━◊

***

Rhea had felt utterly nervous when breakfast had finally been finished and the lads were desperate to fly. She had been fiddling with her trousers for the past ten minutes that she couldn't help but worry about making a fool of herself.

Her mind had repeated the words the Harpies shared with her just last night, and she had finally tapped into her courage and met the rest of her family who was still riding the high.

"Rhea! Wow, you look like a seeker already." She had given Regulus a smile as she cupped his cheek.
"Such a sweet boy you are, but that won't calm my nerves so easily." She said shyly and he simply held her hand to lead her to the other two who were pointing out towards the goals so far up in the air.

Once Alphard had caught sight of his wife, he had an instant recollection of last night's activities when they returned home. The first and the second time.

"I don't think I would've survived if Rhea had been a student in my time," Alfie whispered loud enough for Sirius to hear. "Believe it or not, Rhea hardly looked twice at a bloke. Unless they had a book in hand or held could hold a conversation, she didn't bother."
"I've been told that a few times now, unfortunately, I cannot say the same for myself." He said with a slight frown, he hadn't been all that kind of a person. And he could say for the rest of his life that he would be attracted to Rhea, but would he?

"Rhea, I would like to introduce you to your new beloved." She snorted as she neared the two just a bit farther to see the resented broom. "Really selling yourself with that greeting, and it better not be custom." She said with her hands at her hips, which only accentuated how well her figure looked in trousers.

"Well, I couldn't say no when they offered to make one for you, come love. It'll be alright, and if you don't like it—Sirius and Regulus will lend you theirs." The eldest's eyes had gone wide and offered his broom outright.

"Take it, I'll gladly trade. That thing is worth more than my tuition at Hog—I mean it looks wicked." Rhea eyed those before her and made her way to the broom that was already made its mark on the perfectly trimmed ground.

Alphard had done a similar motion and stood next to his. "Since your right-handed, it'll be your most dominant. Reach your hand out and say 'up'—It'll come just like that." The way he had said it with such ease was fitting, he was a well-experienced wizard who still plays on occasion.

So after a deep breath, Rhea had held out her hand and just as she was about to say the word, the broom reacted much as it did if she had spoken.

"Whoa! That was brilliant Rhea! Never seen anyone command a broom silently on their first try!" Regulus cheered, and Sirius shared an equally pleased grin. "I wasn't awful in flying class." She responded, blinking up to her husband who was still gaping.

"Rolf and Rabastan are brilliant flyers, I have something in my blood. I must." He nodded encouragingly, helping her maneuver onto the broom with ease and sliding it into place.

The reason Alphard had a custom made, it was easier to dictate the type of wood that fit Rhea's built and make it a beginner's model. That being said, it hovered just a bit off the ground but stayed in place as he held it.

"You're shaking too much love, steady." She nodded and repositioned herself that managing to stop her nervousness once she found it comfortable. "There, now lean forward a bit—Perfect." Rhea certainly knew how to shift her body, with this directive it allowed the broom to fly forward and she grinned.
