Rhea was a bundle of nerves the entire morning, rushing around to get a few last-minute things—All in an attempt to make the manor child-friendly. Which took a bit of wondering, what did young lads like Sirius and Regulus fancy doing in their spare time?
Alphard hadn't been as helpful as Rhea would have liked, but she hoped that her search for an answer would be enough for them to see that she tried. And after fluffing a pillow once more, Alphard knocked on the door off behind her. Startling her first and foremost. "Sorry darling, come now—It's not worth the fuss. They're our nephews, not the Minster."
"It doesn't matter, I want them comfortable and happy."
"I think Sirius will appreciate the banners and memorabilia...As well as just getting out of that damn manor."
"I just don't want them to get bored, we're supposed to be the fun uncle and aunt." He found himself laughing, of course, Rhea would want to be favored by them. Her soft spot for them only enhanced when she joined the family.
"Come...We'll wait for them downstairs, I'm sure they'll ask you to help unpack." That had been enough of a segway before she fussed around some more and exhausted herself. So off the two had been, lounging in the den with a book in hand—Either of them, but Rhea had been so engrossed with her novel that when she did hear her name being called, she couldn't be torn from it.
Sirius had looked deviously off to his uncle and father and decided to play a rather cruel prank, and got as close as he possibly could before shouting 'boo' as loudly as he could—And while Rhea did tumble to the ground, and Alphard hurrying to help her. And once she managed back onto two feet, she didn't hesitate to flick Sirius' ear in retaliation.
"That was completely uncalled for!"
"Father called your name and you were dead to the world. Honest, Rhea! How else are we supposed to pull you out?" He said, though his apology had continued to have a smile at every word.
"Um...Auntie Rhea? These are for you." She turned to look at Regulus now, and in his hands were a rather large bundle of flowers and Rhea had nearly cried in seeing the gesture.
"Oh, Regulus, you're so sweet, darling." She came over to give him a hug and a kiss to his temple."This is why you're my favorite." She whispered, and Sirius' eyes widened. "Hey!"
"Well, you were until you pulled that shite on me!" She called out, turning to ruffle up his hair."Yes. I take it they're in great hands now, Orion. Nothing to worry about." Alphard said, only for the three to turn back over towards the elder wizards.
"Was there anything to worry about?" Rhea said with her hands on her hips and Orion quickly shook his head. "Nothing at all, those two know to behavior—Right, Sirius?" He nodded very quickly, as he had been waiting for this day since the start of Holiday.
"Grand, don't forget to owl your mother once in a while. Though she's most likely going off with her friends to and from the country. Rhea, don't be afraid to owl me if they're being difficult." She smiled and agreed, though Orion reinstated it to his brother and Alphard chuckled.
"No worries Orion, and do come back for dinner once everything is settled. That would be a nice celebration, wouldn't it, love?" Orion knew quite well that Rhea opened the dinner table to him more times than he could count.
But alas, Orion was on his way to the Ministry to set forth to Germany for the next few days. Yet once he had left the manor, Rhea squealed. "Oh, this is going to be grand!... Did you finish up you—"
"I'm waiting for an owl, sure you lads are hungry." That had set everyone in motion and they had left their filled trunks by the door as they crowded around the table. Though Rhea was gushing at the fact that she had gotten to sit next to Regulus.
