✧SEARCHING FOR A PIECE OF ART✧

"Now that wasn't so bad, was it?" Alphard questioned, watching the better half of his wife bend down to pick up the fallen papers that had fallen prior to the endless meeting.
"I talked out my arse that entire interview. Merlin. That was awful!" She hissed, and her mood had risen tenfold when she caught just where his line of sight was.
"Eyes up and away, Alphard." That was readily the sign that Rhea was not in the flirtatious mood.
"To ease your mood, my assistant started clearing out your new study. Would you like to see it?...If we're ordering some new art pieces, we can decide on some lovely ones for your office." It seemed easily done, and so she nodded. Her coffee running cold but she didn't care as she chugged the remainder.
"Suppose that will up the mood, Rolf responded too. He's told the elves that we will be staying a night with them this week. Better to go and stay with Orion tonight considering he'll be late too and Walburga didn't have much of a warning no one would be back." Alphard thought it was a selfless act to join Orion when even he was throwing his own teases back and forth.
"Come now love, let's lock up and head home. We'll take dinner in our room."
"Oh...I thought—" She shook off her thought as she turned back to her papers. Making Alphard frown. "You thought...?"
"I thought we were heading out to eat. But if you want to stay in then it's alright."
"And here I thought you wanted an early night, I would much prefer some dinner out and about. The bistro?" She nodded instantly, and he grinned widely at her.
"Wonderful idea...Shall we get a private—"
"Orion! Care to join us for dinner?" Rhea said with the biggest grin, but no, it was not directed towards the man in question, but Alphard himself.
"Er, perhaps that sticks between the two of—"
"Nonsense. Alphard's been a naughty lad. Let's go, I'm starved." Her smiling was a complete and utter curse, especially as she turned out of her new study and out into the hall, surpassing the bloke.
"I could make up an excuse?"
"Wouldn't matter, let her have her teases." Alphard waved it off, allowing his wife to have the current laugh as he knew just how to make things even later.
The following evening had been just as wonderful as Alphard had thought it out to be, Orion had only stayed for drinks before heading off home. Though Rhea did not dare eat anything until her husband promised that they could bring something back for Orion.
It wasn't fair that the bloke was so set on returning home, especially when Walburga would most likely send the elves to bed early.
And upon returning to Grimmuald Place, it was a very few choice of words that left Rhea breathless and irritable and Alphard livid as could be.
Ending in Alphard promising that they would be out by the morning, and he knew damn well his sister would believe that she won. No. Alphard knew his sister adored having the manor filled.
So as he took to getting the first shower in, Rhea had made her towards Orion's office. Having caught a peek of the study's light illuminated from underneath the doorway.
"Orion?" Rhea called out, and without a moment of hesitation, the door had started to creak open. Allowing her entry, only to find that he was very deep in a fresh bottle of fire whiskey.
