✧LINGERING MISTRUST✧

After the downfall that was yesterday's first family get-together with the entire table filled, Rhea felt rather outcasted. Course her Nephews wrote to her, saying that their mother was still furious that something of this sort could've happened and that Rhea bewitched another man.
But in the record of that, Sirius knew right then and there that his mother did not know Rhea's origin—Of how his own father and uncle saved her multiple times from Dolohov.
Not that the reveal would suddenly shift Walburga's mind, but it would evidently fill in the blanks as to how Rhea and Alphard had begun to love one another.
Course, Walburga had wished her dear friend Clarissa would have waited for another child, preferable a daughter around either her son's age. But that never happened.
If Rhea hadn't stayed with Orion and her for that whole month, she would have thought Walburga has no soul whatsoever.
"Mrs.Black?" Rhea had blinked down to Sarah once again, shaking her head and holding it lightly. "I'm sorry Sarah, I'm not all that here today, what were you saying?"
"It's alright, I was asking if you wanted to try on the sleepwear after this one?... It's in its early stages, but I wanted to know if you wanted to make alterations."
"Perhaps that'll brighten my day." She whispered and Sarah grinned widely, Rhea had been her only client given the fact that her order was much larger than one might first take on. But Sarah wanted the challenge, and Rhea always paid extra on a basis of a tip.
"Mrs.Black...? Are you the Ravenclaw or is Mr.Black?" That had earned her a smile. "The both of us actually, am I wearing too much blue?"
"Not at all, but I was wondering after the first order. Most witches would commission their house colors, it's refreshing to work with new colors." Rhea hummed and taped the silk fabric by her thigh.
"We've gotten a few comments about being a bird couple, Alphard looks wonderful in blue.""Should I save a bit of fabric for Mr.Black?...That way he could add it to his dress robes to match?"
"Oh, that's brilliant, Sarah. Please do. He adores when we match." Rhea smiled to herself, perhaps that is the small winnings she would need in order to feel better as to what had happened.Yet her heart still took a beating whenever she thought back to yesterday, Rhea blamed herself for creating such a feud between the family. Not that everything was going smoothly before their marriage, but she certainly added to the fire—Or so she thinks.
With a bundle of packaged clothes in hand this time around, and a hefty tip left on Sarah's desk, Rhea had felt much better about the visit and decided to pick up a few treats and such. As well as enjoying the bookstore, not that she needed any new materials. But she would most definitely be purchasing the whole lot once she gets farther in building her vision on the design of the library.
She would also have to speak with Narcissa in a bit about who to make the inquiry to go about such a task.
In arriving home, Rhea had simply dropped the boxes by the staircase, knowing an elf would take it to her closet when they get the chance. The little snippets of fabric she held in her hand were to send off to Alphard's stylist to include him into their style.
"She isn't in Germany nor Spain! Where the hell else would she go?!" Rhea flinched in hearing Alphard's voice carry through the hall, so when she turned the corner her head had tilted in confusion.
