✧WARNING THE FAMILY✧

◊━━━━━✥━━━━━◊

***

In less than twenty-four hours, Rhea had done an obscenely amount of work not only researching the quickest method for a child, but the effects the type of treatment Alphard is taking in hopes that it didn't do anything on his reproductive system.

Not only that, but hearing the combined cost of fertility additives and enchanting Alphard's portrait—Rhea felt unnerved to even think of the strain on her shoulders had they been going off of her own paycheck.

Even now, Rhea was checking over the plans for the next week. Granted the surgery was her own doing, given that Healer Brown was easily persuaded once she offered to join him in the operating room once again.

At least that was all planned and taken care of, however, now they were starting to make way for a new issue at hand.

The Black family was scheduled to come in the next few minutes or so, and when Alphard had meant the Black family it meant everyone.

Everyone from Alphard's siblings to the former Black sisters now married into their own respective families—Hell, Rhea was the most disturbed about speaking with Sirius and Regulus in the room.

Though perhaps the comfort of Rolf would give her the benefit of whatever doubt lurked in the back of her mind.

"Things will go well, Rhea. Not to worry."
"Well isn't good either, and we both know your sister is just itching to cause some mischief." Alfie sighed, exhausted from an unfit night's rest. One that Rhea was tempted to reframe from calling this meeting and rescheduling, but of course, the elves had decided now was the perfect time to come forward and announce the first of many guests.

Rhea hadn't realized that Alphard's call would or even could force everyone in the same proximity. And when the elf had meant the guests had arrived, it seemed like everyone had arrived as per requested at the designated time.

The seating arrangements were set on purpose, both she and Alphard were a given few spaces away and separated from those who are not protected from Dragon Pox.

So with Alphard sitting at the forefront of everything, he watched with weary eyes as he in took the better part of his family. Though it seemed like everyone was wearing their own nervous glances, yet one notable mention was that Walburga had taken to looking at Rhea's midsection and turning her gaze towards Druella.

Oh—To be able to say what she is truly thinking, that would be such a blessing, wouldn't it?

But Rhea promised to keep the comments aside and allow Alfie to take the reigns, so she remained silent and smiled a polite greeting to everyone as they had taken to their seats.

While Narcissa's husband hadn't joined the meeting, Rolf had stood at Bella's side with a confused tension in his brows that Rhea couldn't answer at the moment, but she hoped that he would pass in understanding soon.

"Thank you all for coming on such short notice."
"Yes, well, it isn't becoming of you not to greet us properly, brother." Walburga chided, and Alphard had all but smirked. "Miss me that much in Germany, sister? I could simply send you back." Was all he said to silence her, but he directed his next statement to the rest of the room.

"I've called you all here for a reason, one that I cannot hide any longer...It seems you've all gotten your wish." He eyed, and Orion crossed his arms at the darkened humor Alphard was toying with.
