It was bittersweet to return back to Britain and follow in the same pattern as they once had, but since Rhea had caught wind of how difficult the classes were in the past—It was much easier to balance her time, and Alphard was thankful, because he used it to his advantage.

Whether it was for his own business, or because they went 'out on the town,' Rhea's confidence from her first semester to the second had been just what Alphard hoped for.

Not only was he seeing the reports fit the bill, but he had received word from Maverick that she was doing well and the hospital was starting to take notice.

Of course, it warmed his heart, but he couldn't help but feel a bit cocky—Having spotted Rhea's potential all from the start, though the credit from Maverick for helping him get the position for her to pursue it was a shared reward.

One afternoon, Rhea was gushing over a doodle that one of her patients had drawn her. It was fairly awful, but even now it was featured in her study and framed.

"Love, have I caught you at a bad time?" He called out, his heart speeding up as he was starting to regret his research with Orion. But this was becoming apparent that he could not allow the Lestrange family to act all high and mighty when there were lies between the midst.

"Bit of a bind—There's a rumor going around that there's a practical exam tomorrow. Gods, my brain is going to melt before the afternoon...Are you here to save me?" It was at that moment that Rhea did not need this issue at the moment, so he docked it for later.

"Unfortunately not, I was going to ask if you wanted an early lunch." Rhea perked her lips and took a peek at her packet before rising from her seat.

"Best manage it when I have a full stomach." She concluded, thus closing her textbook and skipping toward him with such energy that he was much more in tune with where she was in her studies.

"How is the study group going?"

"Pretty well, it's nice to know a few faces. Besides, we're all struggling. Better to do it together." Rhea claimed, hooking her arm around Alphard's as they made their way into the hall.

"I was hoping we could do something tomorrow if you aren't busy at work. I need something to look forward to." Alphard bobbed his head, loving that his little goddess was squirming for an answer to relieve herself of the built tension.

"I suppose I could move things around, are you sure you do not want to wait until Friday?"

"I don't mean a night out on the town, just a night in. Please?" It was far too easy to agree, as if Alphard was going to tell his beautiful little goddess no.

Especially when she asked for something so simple, and it was definitely a strive from last semester when their relationship started to grow mute and there was little downtime between the two.

The following morning, however, Alphard had the perfect idea of how to wish his little goddess good luck on her surprise exam. And that meant waking up just before her alarm and settling in between the likes of her wonderful thighs.

Leaving her gasping for her next breath, but not wishing for anything more.
Never wishing for more.

It certainly took the stress from her sore and overworked mind, but seeing Rhea come home the following afternoon with a bright smile that showcased her success—Or a story about how grateful a family was for her help in caring for their loved on.
