✧BREAKING A VASE✧

The weekend had shifted quickly into the work trip, just as they explained to Walburga to hide the fact that they were visiting Hogsmead without her. And it had gone flawlessly.
Rhea couldn't have been happier. The dozens of events, interviews, and parties had nearly caused Rhea to groan in relief when they re-entered their manor—Her home.
"No tears love, it's just the same as it once was."
"I know. It's just a shame about the other manor."
"Better that than this, love. I couldn't fathom you being a wandpoint—It's happened a few times with the Noble Houses." She was of course, thankful that that was not the case. But after returning to their daily schedule, Rhea didn't hesitate to visit Sterling and her family.
And while it took a bit to reintroduce herself with Sterling and the young Nifflets, until she was swarmed in sniffles and licks. It felt like utter bliss that Rhea found herself visiting them a few times a day, and the small sanctuary continued to grow and allowed them to live in prosperity—While the world around them seemed to be falling apart.
The Death Eaters were once again, making the front page of the Daily Prophet—And it was making Rhea sick to her stomach after every paragraph described the details.
It came to the point where Alphard would take it away before it affected her day and just give her the lives lost. And after seeing how brutally it affected his young wife to hear the instances, he decided he needed to get down to the bottom of this once and for all.
Starting with visiting her brother, Rolf.
It had been fairly easy to get into contact with the bloke, wanting to simply thank him properly for allowing them to stay at the manor for a few nights. Even if he and Bellatrix were off on a mission a ways away.
With a vintage bottle of Firewhiskey in hand, Alphard walked through the young Lestrange manor as though he owned it and greeted the attending elves by name.
It seemed as though his niece was once again absent, not surprising, given the fact that she seemingly left her mark on of the the many attacks throughout the country.
"Uncle Alphard! Or should I keep calling you brother?" He said with a wide grin, bringing him in for a hug. And Alphard laughed, nearly forgetting that this was the same bastard that told his wife that she deserved the horrors that Dolohov had thrown at her.
"We'll work on it, I brought this...Not sure if the vase Rhea purchased was enough for your tastes."
"Ah, don't mention it. I trust you to protect my sister and updating the manor's wards is one of the many. Besides, it was empty." Rolf smiled before offering up a premium cigar.
"I haven't seen Rhea this happy since she started her internship with Madam Pomfry."
"You know of her internship?"
"Course, she had to get a signature and Flitwick accepted mine for whatever the reason. It worked out brilliantly on her part."
"You agreed to it?" Alphard seemed bewildered at the thought and Rolf shrugged. "She couldn't do Quidditch since mother forbid it, she needed something."
"Did you know that she was accepted into Saint Mungos?" The question caused Rodolphous' head to tilt. "Father might have mentioned it in passing, but it was much too late for me to do anything. Mind you I was also expecting Rhea to get married to that bastard. I wasn't her biggest supporter back then."
