✧CREATING THE WILL✧

"Johann, thank you for coming..." Rhea said, coming to take her usual seat beside Alphard—Filling her mug to make her third cup in the last few hours.

But even having the taste on her tongue, she knew she'd need more before the day is up.

"Of course, and I made the adjustments we spoke about last time if you'd like to read it through." Considering Alfie knew the contents, he had silently passed it towards Rhea without a second thought.

Pure confusion crossed her face before she took hold of the thick packet. After a full glance to the first page, her eyes flickered up towards her husband and another stab of pain had caught her directly in the heart.

"I know it's not something you want to read, love. But I want you to know what you're in store for. I trust Johann considerably, he will no doubt come back to Britain once my time is up." And of course, Johann made the promise without hesitation, that he would help in any legal sense of the matter.

Making Rhea wonder just how long they have been working with one another, or how much Johann was getting paid for his aid.

"I didn't realize you have so many properties..."
"I was under the impression that it was better to own than to rent. All the businesses that are under the company are owned by me until those can come forward and buy it back. I'd like to think that is a fail-safe if my siblings decide to be sneaky." She nodded, knowing that it was for the better to be prepared and know what to expect.

"What could Walburga and Cygnus fight me for?"
"Well...This is a complete hypothetical, Mrs.Black. But anything that pertains to the Black family that can be labeled as a family heirloom could perhaps be up for debate with the courts." Off the top her head, Rhea knew that Alfie's homes were his alone.

Grimmauld Place, however, was not.

"I suppose now is the time to ask if you're alright with my downsizing...?" She asked, her eyes guilty for thinking this way, but Alfie smiled softly. "Love, whatever you have to do, you do it. Do not think of me in that regard."
"But this is all yours." She croaked, her wrist coming to her forehead as she tried to blink away the tears. So he leaned forward towards her.
"Yes, but they are yours now as well...The moment we were wed. Now, I did write in that Sirius could have my secondary home and a fair monthly stimulus. I went in that direction with most of our closest family members." There was plenty to go over, and it came to the point of Rhea taking mindless notes to the pad beside her—Managing her questions when there was a break in conversation.

Yet when everything had come to a close, and the table was now open to more prominent questions, Rhea knew what Alphard would ask.

So she beat him to it.

"What would a child do...In our case?" She questioned, and it had made Alphard so damned proud of his wife that he turned to grasp her free hand into his gloved one. "Well, as I spoke previously with your husband, it would make claims easier. Given that Alphard is the Head of the Black Family household, meaning that the child—whether a son or daughter—Would allow most of this to be disregarded. As mother of the child, you would have control of the decisions over everything until the child is of age. But Mr.Black has already asked for alternations to such case, and I am still working on the proper documentation since it's...Not a reality at the moment." It was the kindest way to say that there was no child, and while Rhea wanted to say there wouldn't be in this case...
