Ch.325 Emma's Day

On Sunday May 10th was Mother's Day. Emma was sleeping in with Leia, since she and Killian were both up all night with Leia, who was having side effects from her chemo treatment. Ian was up at night wanting to be with Leia. Killian was sleeping with Ian so he will stop going to Leia's room.

Henry was up early on Mother's day with Hope. "Henwy? Do you think Mommy want go to Granny's?"

"I think so but Mom is going to need her coffee first."

"She had a long night with Leia. I do not like seeing Leia sick."

"Me too."

"Do you think Mommy like her gifts?"

"Let's go find out." They find their Mommy in Leia's bedroom. Leia was awake.

"Mommy!! Time to wake up!!"

Emma startles waking up seeing three out of her four ducklings. "Happy Mommy day!!" Hope and Leia hug their Mom. She hugs her daughters.

"Happy mother's day mom!" He hands his Mom a cup of coffee.

"Thank you, girls and Henry. Thank you for this." She sips her coffee.

"You are welcome."

Ian entered the room. "Mama!!" He went to his Mommy and hugged her.

"Hi, baby boy! Did you sleep well?"

"Dada snores." Henry laughs with his Mom.

"Oh, really? You need to stay in bed to sleep."

"Leia!" Ian hugged his big sister.

"Hi, Ian!" She hugs her brother tightly. Ian giggles.

Emma opened her gifts from her ducklings which were a new red leather jacket from Henry, an Outlander sweater from Hope, a Princess Bride iPhone case from Leia and Disney World blue sweater from Ian. "Ian, you went shopping while we were at Disney World?"

"Dada shop!"

"Oh,Dada went shopping!"

"Yes, I did," He brought in a bouquet of buttercups. "Happy Mother's Day, my beautiful wife."

She takes the flowers from her husband and kissed him on the lips. Hope, Leia, and Ian covered their eyes. He gives her new earrings. "I love them. Thank you, my captain."

"Mom, what do you want to do today?"

"I was thinking we can order granny's to go and have a picnic on the Jolly Roger. What do you think?"

"I love your idea."

"Can we go swimming,Mommy?"

"It is too cold to go swimming, duckling. But you can put your feet in the water at the beach."

"I wanna play in the wet sand!"

Ian hugged his sister. "Me too!" Leia giggles.

"Okay, you can wear waterproof pants to the beach with your light jackets!"

"Yes!"

Henry followed his Mom downstairs. "Did Nana want us to come over to the farm?"

"Yes, but with Leia's chemo treatment, we can't. she is easier to getting sick and getting an infection. Her body cannot fight back. With the animals and dust.."

He hugged his Mom. "Mom, Leia is going to be okay. She is not going to get sick. Leia loves the beach. We all do. I do not want you to be sad on your special day."

Killian returns downstairs, "Swan, our little pirates are looking...Emma." He hugs his wife.

"I am okay." She went to the kitchen and returned her mug.
