Ch.292 Friday Night

It was Friday afternoon, Emma and Henry were at Melody's birthday party at the play aerobics location. They were watching Ian and Leia playing in the toddler area. Teddy was playing with Leia. Hope was playing around with her classmates in ball pits, foam playgrounds, and bouncy houses. "Kid, I will check on Hope."

Henry holds Ian. "Okay. I got my baby brother." Ian tries to escape out of his brother's arms.

Emma finds Hope in her school uniform, sitting on the carpet, not playing with her friends. "There is my little duckling." She sits on the floor next to her daughter. "Why are you sitting here? Not playing with your classmates and Melody?"

"I did play. I just do not want to play."

"Are you sad?"

"No."

"Do you want to have your birthday party here?"

"No."

"You can have it anywhere you want. At home or somewhere else."

"I like having birthday parties at home. I just don't like all my classmates.I like only my best friends to come to party. Is that bad?"

"No. That is not being bad. You can have your birthday your only your close friends. Or we can go somewhere special for your birthday."

"Like a vacation?"

"Yes, we can go anywhere you want for your birthday."

"Can we go to Boston to the aquarium for my birthday? I like the aquarium!"

Emma thought about it, Hope's birthday is during spring break this year. "We can go to Boston for a family trip!"

"Yay!" She hugged her Mommy. "Family twip!!"

Emma smiles. "Now you can go play with Melody." Hope goes to find her ocean princess best friend.

After pizza and cake, Emma drove her four ducklings from the party in her yellow bug. It was dark out by the time the party ended. Hope and Leia were looking into their goodie bags as Ian was fast asleep. "Mom, Melody had a fun party."

"Yes, it was a good place for an indoor birthday party."

"It was indoors in the winter. There was a play area for all ages. Ian had a blast touching buttons to defeat the crocodiles. They have a party room with pizza and cake. The whole place is full of children running around all of their energy out."

"Mommy, can we go to Daddy?"

"Yes, can we? We miss him."

"I have not seen him all day. He at work."

Emma smiles, Hope has been out all day, school and straight to Melody's birthday party. "We can surprise Dad at work."

"Yay!" The girls cheered.

The Jolly Roger Pub was crowded for a Friday night during a holiday week. Killian was giving a table their meals. "Daddy!" He turned to the left seeing his daughters' waving at him. He smiles at them.

"Girls, we need to let Daddy give customers their meals."

"Okay." She moved her daughters out of the customers' ways as they were by the entrance. Ian was fast asleep in the stroller.

Killian looks at Smee. "One table for my family, Smee!"

"Aye, captain." Smee went to clean up a booth for the family.

Hope and Leia ran to their father. "Daddy!"

"There are my two pirate princesses." He hugged his daughters. "How was Melody's party?"
