Ch.326 Summer

Hope and Snow White on summer vacation, Emma returns back to work. She and Killian are up early getting ready for work. He would make their coffee. She and Killian leave to work together and get breakfast at Granny's on the way to the sheriff's station. Her squad was happy to see Emma back at work. David smiles, he was happy to have his daughter back at work even though she was his boss. Emma and Killian go on patrol together.

Snow White was at the Swan-Jones home in the morning to be with, Hope,Ian and Leia.She would let her grandchildren play in the baby pool in the backyard. Leia was tired but sitting on the back porch in the shade hugging her Bitsy Super Kitties plush doll she got in Disney World. Snow White or Henry would take the little kids to the summer reading program at the library. Henry, who was helping out his other Grandma with the summer reading program. Hope, Melody, Leia, Teddy, Lizzie, Ellie and Ian are in the summer reading program. Hope and Leia would bring home books to read.

On the day of Leia's next chemo treatment, which was all day, Nana joins her and Emma. She carried the overnight bag in as Emma held her daughter. Henry takes Hope and Ian to the library for a summer reading program. Hope was enjoying reading books for fun , and keeping track of the book prizes. She was happy to see Gideon and Melody at the library. Henry was helping Ian with his reading goal.

Leia was at her chemo treatment crying, "I want Daddy...I want Daddy..." Emma hugs her daughter. "We will see him later."

"I want Daddy.." Emma looked at her Mom.

"Nana is here, sweetheart." She holds her granddaughter.

"I want needle out!"

"I know, sweetie." She rubs her granddaughter's back. Emma went out into the hallway.

Killian finished his patrol. He even checked on little his pirates at the library on the way back to the sheriff's station. His wife was calling him. "Emma? Is everything okay with Leia at her treatment?"

"She is having a hard time today. She misses her Daddy."

"I am on my way, love." He went inside the station to his father-in-law. "David?"

"Yes, Killian."

"I just finished my patrol for today."

By the look on his face, he can tell something was wrong. "What is it?"

"Emma called, Leia is at her chemotreatment...she needs me."

"Go. I know if Emma calls you at work, Leia is having a hard time even with my wife is there with them."

"Thank you, David."

Killian arrives at the children's oncology floor. He changed into a gown and a mask. Emma was snuggling with upset Leia. "Baby love."

Emma smiles at her husband, who made it. "Look who is here, baby girl?"

Leia smiles at her Daddy, who came. "Daddy! You are here!"

"I am here,baby love."He holds his daughter in her arms and hugs her. "I am staying here with you."

Emma smiles and places her hand on her daughter's shoulder. Killian and Emma looked at each other, knowing they are both here for their daughter.

"I wanna go home."

"I know, baby love but you need to finish your medicine first. Then, we will go home."

"I know you are scared baby girl, but you are safe here with us."

"Aye,Mommy and Daddy are not going to let anything happen to you."

"I want you and Mommy here."

"We are staying here with you." He sits on the bed with his daughter gripping him. "We can watch Super Kitties?"
