Ear Infection

Emma and Killian were both up early, watching Good Morning Storybrooke show drinking their morning cups of coffee. The couple were taking advantage of their quiet morning together while their little ones were still sleeping in.

As Killian made breakfast for his family, Emma turned on Little Bear on the television to calm down upset Ian. "Look, Ian, Little bear."

"Bear." Ian continues to cry. "Mama."

"Why are you crying, baby?"

Killian enters the room and takes his son. Ian gripped his Dada. "Why are you upset,son?"

Emma placed her hand on her son's forehead. "He is warm. I think he is coming down with a fever. I will get a thermometer." She gets the first aid kit.

"You are going to be okay, son." He rubs his son's back. "Dada is right here." He kissed his son on the head.

Emma returns with a baby thermometer and scanned his head. His temperature is 101. "Baby you have a fever. We are going to visit Aunt Allison today at work. You are going to be okay." She kissed her son on the head. Ian cries and pulls his ear.

"Swan, I can stay home with Leia."

Henry arrived downstairs. "Mom, Dad? What is wrong with Ian?"

"Your brother has a fever,kid. I need to take him to Allison."

"I can stay with Leia. I have no classes until the afternoon."

"I appreciate that, kid."

"Swan, I can take Hope to school on the way to work."

Ian wailed. "Dada! Dada!"

"You are with Dada son. Dada is here. "Swan, I am coming with you and Ian. He does not want to let go of me."

"Dada."

"Yes, I am coming with you, little pirate." Henry shows Ian a toy to try to cheer him up.

Emma knows Ian needs Killian and so did her. She faced her husband. "I can ask Mom to take Hope to school with her. We can both take Ian in." She calls her Mom.

Snow White was getting ready for the day when her iPhone rang. "Hi, Emma."

"Hi, Mom. Ian has a high fever. Killian and I need to take him to the hospital. Can you please take Hope to school with you?"

"I can drop by to pick up Hope. Have Hope be ready by 7:30am."

Emma smiles. "Thank you, Mom." She ends her phone call and faced her husband. "Mom can take Hope in with her."

"Aye, where did Ian get sick?"

"He could have caught something at the play aerobics place."

"From Melody's party?"

"Yes. It was crowded with kids. Leia was wearing a mask. I will get Hope ready before we go."

"Mom, she is up and dressed already. She just needs you to do her hair. I can make her and Leia breakfast."

"Thank you, kid." Emma hugs her son and went upstairs.

"Mommy! Hair!"

"What hairstyle should I do?"

"French braid!"

"I can do that." She braids her daughter's hair. "You are going to ride with Nana to school."

"I am?"

"Yes because Daddy and I have to take Ian to Allison at work."

"Oh, no. Ian is sick?"
