Ch.314 Family Time on Christmas

The Swan-Jones family spent Christmas Eve at the Camerons' house before the snowstorm on Christmas day. Henry, Hope, Leia, and Ian exchanged presents with Connor, Lizzie, and Ellie. Ellie and Leia got Super Kitties plush dolls from Build-A-Bear. Connor and Henry got new Xbox video games. Lizzie got two new outfits and a book. Hope got a Barbie sweatshirt. Ian, Ellie, and Leia were playing together. Lizzie, Connor, Henry, and Hope were watching a Christmas movie. Killian was playing darts with Ted in the basement in his mancave. Killian was sitting on a comfy recliner chair. "Wow. This feels nice!"

"I come down here when I need to relax. I even see Allison down here when she had a rough day from work."

"Nice. This whisky is good."

"I keep a little collection here."

"I gotta come here often!"

"I need to come to your pub more often."

Allison and Emma were in the kitchen talking, eating gingerbread cookies. "Ian has been obsessed with Santa ever since we took the kids to the mall to meet Santa last week. He love talking to him. Henry borrowed a few books on Santa."

"Awe, that is sweet. Ellie is afraid of Santa." Ellie returns to the kitchen crying. "See." She sets her youngest daughter on her lap. "Is Ian showing you Santa?"

"Yes." She hugs her daughter.

Ian returns with a Santa book. "Ellie, Santa nice."

Emma smiles at her son, who was trying to tell his cousin. "You were only trying to make Ellie feel safe about Santa."

"Yes!" She hugged her son. "That was nice of Lizzie to give Hope and Leia a box of her old Barbie dolls."

"She was cleaning out her toys. She only kept her favorites, like Disney toys."

"What about hand-me-down toys for Ellie from Lizzie?"

"She has another box of Barbie dolls that she saved for baby sis."

"Hope and Leia are going to play with them."

When the family returned home, Emma stored the leftovers from the Camerons' dinner in the refrigerator. Henry read a Christmas story to his siblings before the little ones went to bed. Leia returns from setting the cookies and milk for Santa. "Henwy, do you think Santa will bring our presents tonight?"

"Yes, we mailed out letters at the mall! We also spoke to him!"

"We need to go to sleep so Santa can come!" Killian tucked his little pirates in.

Emma and Henry were watching a movie downstairs. "Michael saw me in town. Ava is slowly remembering the present...she does not remember me as her boyfriend."

She placed her hand on her son's schedule. "She is making progress. She may be remembering you soon."

"I am not giving up hope, but it is hard for Ava not remembering me." Avat eh dog ealps onto the couch and barks. "Hi, Ava!" Ava licks Henry on his cheek. Emma is hoping Ava remembrs her son soon, her heart is hunting knowing her son's girlfriend has no memory of him.

Around midnight, Ian entered his parents' room and went to his Daddy's side of the bed. His parents were sleeping. "Santa! Dada! Dada!"

Killian groans, hearing his son. "Ian, what are you doing up?"

"Santa here?"

"You have to sleep for Santa to come."

"Sleep wif you."

"Okay." He sets his son between himself and his swan who was fast asleep.

"Santa here?" Killian sighs; he is going to have a long night.
