Ch.324 Anniversary Adventure

It was May 7th,2026 Killian's and Emma's 9th wedding anniversary, when Emma woke uo on the Jolly Roger in the middle of the ocean. She was not here last night and she puts a knitted cardigan robe and went on deck. She saw Killian steering the Jolly Roger. "Killian?"

"Happy anniversary my love! Surprised that we are on the Jolly Roger?"

"Yes! I am surprised. As I recall, we fell asleep in our bed at home on land. I woke up in the middle of the ocean on the Jolly Roger. "

"Aye, I wanted to surprise you. A full day on the Jolly Roger, alone time."

"How did you get me here?"

"I carried you out of our bed to our yellow bug. I have a bag for you with a change of clothes."

"Our little pirates?"

"Your Mom brought Hope to school with her. Your Dad is watching Leia and Ian."

She was impressed on her husband's planning for their wedding anniversary."I got to hand it to you, Captain; you are very good at planning our anniversary date."

She went to go change into an oversized Maine sweater and jeans; it was breezy while sailing. Emma helps her husband sail around the ocean, holding the sails. She sees a magic bean in her husband's hand. "Killian? Where are we going?"

"To another realm for an adventure."

"What? What if Leia needs us or the other kids?"

"I have a shell, and your Mom has a shell to stay in contact."

"Wait, is this like our honeymoon?"

"Aye, but in another realm and only for one day." Emma smiles; her pirate such a romantic planner.

Killian threw the magic bean into the ocean. The sea began making a portal. Killian steered the ship into the poortal. "Hang on!" Emma gripped the sail as the Jolly Roger went through the portal.

The Jolly Roger popped up from the ocean into another realm. She looked around wondering where they were on their anniversary adventure. "Where are we, captain?"

Killian remembered this place, "We are at the Enchanted Forest."

"You mean where we met?" She smiles at her husband.

"Yes!"

She and Killian lowered the anchor. Killian and Emma had a picnic style brunch deck. They exchanged gifts. Killian opened his gift which was a necklace with 5 charms hanging, two blue ones a book and a wave. The two pink charms were two hearts and a a white swan. "This is everyone in our family. So you will always have us when you are on adventures."

He smiles big, he can wear this with his family always with him."I love this. You do know my pirate days are over, it is you and our family that is all that matters to me."

"You can still wear it when you are at work."

"Aye, I will." They kiss. "I will wear it now."

Emma opened her present which was a sea glass swan. "Killian this is beautiful."

"Aye, I had it made especially for you."

"I love it." She kissed her husband on his scruffy cheek. "Let's go on a hike while we are here."

"I will get our water bottles."

Emma began cleaning up the picnic. "And a compass."

"I always have a compass in my pocket love." He gives her a wink. Emma smiles; her husband is such a pirate.
