I wake up to Alex shaking me. "Hmm." He laughs, "Ally, get up." I sigh and look around, "What time is it?" He laughs and pulls me up, "Time to get up. The lady downstairs sent Erica up to tell me the guy will be here in five minutes." I jump up and start running to the door, "Come on." he laughs but follows me out his room and outside to my car. I lean against it and a few minutes later I see the truck pull in. He hops out and looks at me then Alex, "You locked your keys in your car?" I nod and move so he can see them on my seat. He shakes his head but walks back to his truck.

Few minutes later he is back and opening my door. He holds the door open for me and smiles, "Anything else I can do for you today?" I shake my head, "No but thank you so much." He nods and grabs a clipboard and fills out his paperwork. I sign the paper and he nods, "You are good to go, have a great day." I watch him get in his truck and drive off. I smile and reach in my car and grab my keys. I hug Alex. "Thanks for letting me stay with you through everything." He laughs and nods, "Anytime." I kiss his cheek and get in my car. I start it then roll my window down. "Good luck on everything Alex." He nods, "Thanks for the help." I smile before backing out and starting home.

I hope everything has been okay since I have been gone.

I pull into my driveway and see Austin's car. At least he is home. I sigh and get out. I walk up and open the door. I lock the door back and look around. The house is clean and dark. I guess everyone is still asleep.

I walk up the steps and look in Aiden's room and see he is sleeping. I walk across the hall and peak in Aubrey's room but I don't see her. Pulling her door back up I look around. She must be with Austin.

Carefully walking down the hallway I push the slightly open door and see Aubrey curled up to Austin. They are both asleep. I step in and I see Austin's eye pop open. When they land on me I see emotions flying across his face. I bite my lip and look at him, "Hey." He shakes his head and sits up slightly. Whispering, "Don't fucking hey me." I jump back slightly at the tone in his voice. I've known him to lose it like that. "What did I do?" He looks down at Aubrey. "No answering your goddamn phone. No coming home to see your daughter." He looks down at her and then back at me with cold eyes, "I don't care what you were doing or what was going on but you could of came to check on your daughter who was screaming and crying because she was hurt." I hear hurt and run to them, “What do you mean? What happened? Is she okay?" I watch him look up at me mad. "You should have answered your phone and you would have known." I get mad and pop my hip out, "Just tell me." He sighs and moves Aubrey a little bit who then whines and wraps herself to him.

I look closer and see an ugly looking bruise and stitches. I feel sick to my stomach. I feel myself slump down and shake my head. "I didn't know. My phone died, I locked myself out of my car." I walk over and sit down in the chair in the corner. "What happened? Is she okay?" He sighs, "We really don't know what happened. I was getting ready for our date when I heard her scream. I went down and found Hanna holding her head with blood coming through her hands. Rushed her to the hospital, she needed stitches. Doctor said it was bad. She has latched on to me like crazy. I can't put her down and she has to be with me wherever I go. She has been calling for you" I feel the jabs hit even harder knowing my daughter got hurt and was crying for me. I feel my heart literally hurt. I also feel like I could be sick.

I sit for a few minutes letting everything settle and hope to not get sick. Aubrey starts to move and groan. I look up and see Austin rubbing her back and softly playing with her hair. She looks up at him, "Mommy?" I move and walk over to the bed, "I'm here sweetie." She turns her head and looks at me then wraps herself around me. She points to her head and I nod, "Daddy told me. You got a bad boo boo." She nods and pushes her lips out. I laugh and lean in and kiss her forehead, "All better?" She smiles and hugs on to me. "You gone." I sigh, "I know baby, I’m sorry." She starts to cry. I sit down on the bed next to Austin, "Why are you crying?" She points at me, "You gone and I hurt." I nod, "I know baby, I am so sorry. I couldn't get home and I didn't know you were hurt. I am sorry." She crawls back over to Austin and sits in his lap and hugs him. He rubs her back and sighs. "Mommy didn't know princess. She would never want to upset you or make you cry. She is sorry she couldn't be here for you." I look at him and he smiles slightly. Aubrey looks at me and smiles slightly. Austin looks at the clock and smiles, "Want to curl up with mommy and me and lay back down?" She nods. Austin lies down and then Aubrey lies down next to him. I walk over to my side of the bed and take my shoes off. I lay down next to Aubrey. She then grabs my hand and then Austin's hand. Austin and I fall asleep with Aubrey holding one of each of our hands in between us. The only thought I had as I fell asleep was how horrible of a mother I feel like right now.
