Life changes.

Stomach virus

School started back a few weeks ago. Austin has been at school so much because his load is a lot this semester. I have easy classes this semester and have a lot of time to spend with the kids. My new car came and it is great. All four car seats fit and when they get a little older there is plenty of room for everyone. The wedding planner and Austin and I have been working a lot on the wedding on things we need. I went and looked at a few places with Austin and got back to the planner on what we thought about them. We have got a lot of details and items almost figured out or done. The wedding is really coming together.

I am lying down on the couch after finally getting the kids down. I have an arm over my eyes hoping to get a few seconds of sleep. I just close my eyes when I hear the loud pitch cry coming from Aubrey's room and baby monitor at the same time. I remove my arm from my eyes and look at the ceiling before sighing and getting up and walking upstairs.

I walk into Aubrey's room and see her sitting up in her bed crying. I walk over and sit in her little bed and pull her to me. "It's okay." I get her in my lap before standing up with her and taking her to the bathroom. I undress her and place her in the bathtub to wash her off. While washing her off she gets sick all over herself and starts to cry again.

After emptying the tub and getting it filled again and washing her off again, I finally get her out and dry her off before wrapping a towel around her and carrying her to her room. I place her down and grab her a pair of underwear and t-shirt. I dress her and set her down with her toys before changing her sheets with fresh ones. I place them in the hallway before grabbing a pair of pants and putting them on her. I pick her up and smile at her before putting her in her clean bed. I tuck her in and give her a kiss. "Try to get some sleep baby." I turn on her night light before walking out the room and pulling her door up.

I walk into my room and lay down on the bed and throw an arm over my eyes as I try again to get some sleep. I have been since early this morning dealing with this stomach bug. I hear Aiden crying and sigh as I get up and walk down the hallway to his room.

I walk in and pick him up and take him to the bathroom where I undress him and place him in the tub to clean him up. I wrap a towel around him when he is clean and walk into his room and see his bed is perfectly fine still. I dress him and lay him back in his crib. "Get some sleep baby." I kiss him before pulling his door up. I walk into the bathroom and grab up all of the clothes before walking into the hallway and grabbing Aubrey's sheets. I walk downstairs and into the laundry room and put them in the washer and start it. I walk into the living room and sit down on the couch just as one of the twins start to scream. I shake my head as I get up and go to figure out which one it is.

After washing Asher off and dressing him again I place him in his crib. I start for the door when Adam starts. With a little whine from me I turn and pick Adam up and take him to get cleaned up.

After Adam is cleaned and dressed I place him in bed and pull the door up. I walk into the bathroom and grab their clothes to go put with the others in the washer. I sit down on the couch and listen to the baby monitors for a second and I hear nothing. I smile slightly and lay down. I drape an arm over my stomach as I close my eyes feeling like for the first time all day I can get some sleep. I don't want a lot just an hour. I have been up since two this morning with stomach viruses, all four of them have it and I am slowly losing my mind.

I feel myself drifting off when I hear the doorbell. "Are you fucking kidding me?" I jumped up pissed as I walk to the door and listen to see if the kids woke up. I hear nothing and take a moment to feel relief as I open the door. I see Alex there smiling. I shake my head and go to talk when I hear Aubrey crying from upstairs. "Fuck." I turn and head up the stairs to see what it is this time.

I walk into her room and see she got sick on herself. "Shh, its okay baby." I pick her up and look over her bed and see it is just on her clothes. I change her and lay her back down. "Are you still tired?" She nods and closes her eyes. "Sick." I nod and kiss her head, "I know baby. I am so sorry you are sick. You will be feeling better in no time though. Just try to sleep." I walk out and pull the door up just as Aiden starts.

I walk into his room and see her got sick on his sheet. I pick him up and wipe his face off before changing his sheet. "You will be better soon baby." I place him in his crib, "Just try to sleep baby. It will help." I walk out after pulling his door up and start down the steps.

Alex is standing there smiling holding flowers. "For you." I look at them and go to say something with the twins start. I take off to their room and pick Asher up and change him and wipe him off before placing him in his bed. I pick Adam up and take him into the bathroom to undress him and clean him up. I wrap a towel around him and grab him clothes and take them to the washer and place them in it.

I am walking back to his room when Alex start saying something but I am so out of it I don't hear the words and just hear noise and see lips moving. I shake my head slightly and I hear him, "You look nice today. I was thinking about maybe going for lunch but I can bring something here. Anything you want. You know I also got you..."He goes into his pocket and comes out with something as Aubrey starts to cry again but I can't deal with this. "Alex, for the love of god. I can't deal with this right now. I have four kids with the stomach virus and I got no sleep. I can't not deal with you on top of all of that. I am marrying Austin do you not understand that. I love you but I don't love you like that." I hear Aubrey getting louder and look at Adam in my arms, "Fuck." I take off to the twins room and change Adam and place him down before literally running out of the twins room and past Alex and upstairs to Aubrey.

I rush into her room and pick her up and rush into the bathroom to clean her up. I get her out when she is clean and wrap a towel around her and pick her up before walking into her room and dressing her again. I change her sheets again and place her back in bed. I walk out of the room with clothes and sheets again. I walk downstairs and through the new clothes in the washer before starting the whole washer over again making sure everything gets clean.

I walk into the living room and see a letter on the table.

I see you are dealing with a lot. Sorry to bother you.

I place the letter back down and go to pick my phone up to text him with Aiden starts crying starting the cycle again.

About an hour later I lay down on the couch and sling an arm over my eyes hoping once again for just a few minutes. I hear nothing for a few minutes and smile. I close my eyes more with the arm over my eyes keeping everything dark. I listen and hear nothing feeling happy and relieved that they are finally sleeping. I hear my phone ringing in the distance but I am too far out in sleep world to get it.

I think I might run over a few days on finishing this story. I wanted to be done on Monday but I don't think that will happen. I am going to try but I don't think it will and that I feel like the story might run over a few days. Just wanted to let everyone know.
