Life changes.

Performance and goodbye

Today is the day that Austin leaves for tour. Tonight is the first concert and I kept getting calls to perform, eventually I said yes. Alex is also performing tonight. I have been going through my songbook trying to find some songs. I am thinking about all about that bass and another song I wrote after that. I have one more but I don't know about it. I can't figure out songs and my phone is blowing up with twitter notifications. It got out I was performing and a lot of people are happy I will be back on stage tonight. Hanna is on her way over to help me with the kids and figure out songs. She is so much more than a nanny, she is my friend.

I hear a knock on the door and smile as it opens and I see Hanna walk in. "Hey sweetie." I smile, "Hanna, Help?" She laughs and comes over picking Aiden up and cooing at him while we flip through songs and decide on the three I will sing. She hugs me, "These are so good." I smile and she looks at me, "Now, what are you wearing?" I shrug, "I don't know." She smiles and motions towards the steps, "Well, let's go then." I laugh and pick Aubrey up before walking upstairs to my room. I put Aubrey down and Hanna puts Aiden down as we go through my closet and pick out an amazing red skin tight dress with a heart cut out of the back. I put it on and smile. "Hanna, you are amazing. What would I do without you?" She shrugs and hugs me, "Be a complete mess." I nod and hug her back, "No question on that one." She laughs and pushes me away slightly, "You need shoes and bling." I laugh as she goes through my stuff and ends up picking out black six inch heels and a diamond necklace Alex bought me and the diamond earrings Austin bought me. She holds up bracelets and decides on the diamond tennis bracelet my dad got me. I smile and put everything in a bag to put on when I get to the concert. I put the dress on a hanger as I get back in my jeans. "I have to leave soon for rehearsal." She nods and hugs me, "Go get a shower and get ready." I smile and head towards the bathroom. I come out and see she laid out a pair of light colored jeans and a blue tank top with white flip-flops. I smile and get dressed. Hanna is amazing; I would be lost without her.

I walk downstairs with my bags in my hand. I lay them across the back of the couch and bend down kissing Aiden, "I love you sweetie. Be good." He giggles and I smile. I hug Aubrey and kiss her, "I will be home later. Be good for Hanna. I love you." She smiles and wraps her arms around my neck, "Love you too mommy." I smile and kiss her again. I stand up and Hanna hugs me, "Knock em dead." I smile wide, "Thank you. Order food on us." She nods, "I know Ally. Don't worry; I have the kids just rock that stage." I smile and grab my bags, "Call me if you need to." She shakes her head, "Won't need to, now go." I nod and walk outside and put my bags in the backseat and get in the front and drive to the arena.

I park and grab my bags and carry them inside and to the dressing room I am pointed to. I lay the bags across the couch in my room and look as the door opens. A girl pokes her head in, "Time for rehearsal." I smile and nod, "I'm coming." I take a deep breath and follow her out to the stage.

Rehearsal is done in about two hours and I am told to go get ready. I do my hair first and then the makeup artist comes in and looks at my outfit before doing my makeup dark with some glitter. I smile and get in my dress before the hairdresser comes in to do last minute touch ups. "You look amazing." I smile and stand up and put the rest of my items on. I look in the mirror and smile at the result. The hairdresser claps, "You are going to knock them dead with just how you look." I smile, "Thank you." She leaves and I am so excited and nervous. A knock is on my door and I see Alex poke his head in, "I was told to tell you that you are on in five." I smile and he comes in and whistles, "You look amazing Ally." I smile wider, "Thanks." He throws an arm around my shoulder as we start walking towards the stage. We stop right before I would go on and watch as Austin finishes his first song. "Now, I would like to introduce my wonderful, beautiful, amazingly talented fiancé. Ally Dawson." I smile at Alex as I am handed a mic, "Knock them dead." I nod and he kisses my cheek before pushing me lightly towards the stage.
