truth comes out

Austin had to get his appendix out. We all thought he had the flu but when he wasn't feeling better the next morning I took him to the hospital even though he was fighting me on it and we found out his appendix was about to rupture. The doctor actually came out after the surgery and told me as soon as he got the appendix out it burst in his hands. Austin was down for a few days after that and was really sore and had to be really careful for a few weeks to not rip his stitches out. He finally started to feel better and was so happy to be able to play with Aubrey and the kids again.

All of the wedding stuff is pretty much done. Everyone has RSVP and everything is set and ready to go. I only have one more fitting before the wedding. Austin went and did his tux and everything a few weeks ago. We get married in just a few short months. Aubrey turned four and because Alex is still dodging us he dropped off her gift at the front door. Thanksgiving went great except he never showed. Christmas was the same way. I now have nanny cameras throughout the whole house just to watch for things that happen when I am gone. We all go back to school for our last semester in a few days and I have had enough of all of this, I am getting answers and all this crap is going to stop.

I walk from the kitchen and see Austin sitting at the tea set with Aubrey and Aiden having a tea party. I start to walk towards them, "Austin can you..." I round the couch and see Aubrey has put Austin in a pink tutu, I lose track of what I was saying and start laughing. He sighs and Aubrey stands up mad, "Daddy pretty princess." She crosses her arms with a huff of air. I try to keep a straight face as I nod but it doesn't happen and I start laughing again, "Yes he is baby, a very pretty princess." I start laughing more and can't talk again. Aubrey sits down with a huff of air and Austin shakes his head at me and turns to Aubrey, "More tea Princess Aubrey." She smiles, "Of course Princess Daddy." I laugh more and shake my head as I sit down on the couch and start gasping for air. They go on with their tea party as I gasp out air and finally regain my breath.

I take a few deep breaths and sit up and look at them, "I am better now." They nod and Austin looks at me, "Austin can you..." "No, its Princess Daddy." I laugh and turn back to Austin and with a laugh say, "Princess Daddy, can you watch the kids for a little bit?" He nods, "Where you going though?" I look at Aubrey and back at Austin, "To get answers." He nods and smiles, "Okay we will be here having a tea party." I laugh again and walk upstairs and change out of my sweats and into a pair of jeans. I leave my shirt on and just grab my Victoria Secret jacket and pull it on and zip it about an inch. I pull a hat on and pull my pony tail through the opening in the back. I grab my sunglasses and bag. I walk back downstairs and turn to Austin, "I will be back." He looks at me and nods, "Just be careful." I nod, "Always am." I put my sunglasses on and open the door and walk out quickly and quickly walk to my car and get in. I start it and back out. The paparazzi did get news of the wedding and they know it is starting soon not the exact day but they know it's soon. We have both been being followed and Austin was actually almost run off the road by some crazy ones so we just try to stay out of sight right now and hope it will blow over soon.

I pull into the school parking lot and park my car. I see his new silver truck and park next to it. I found out he got the truck from Trish who has also tried to talk to him but he got back in the truck and left. Seeing the truck and the jeep I know he is upstairs. I look around and grab my phone and keys. I make sure the hat is pulled on and fix my glasses before looking around one more time. I get out and lock the car as I quickly walk upstairs and a girl lets me in. I smile and thank her as I walk down the familiar hallways until I reach his door. Not wanting to be ignored again I don't say anything and just knock.

I hear movement inside and then I hear footsteps coming to the door. I hear them stop and then I wait a second to see if he is going to open or not. After a few minutes I see the door open and he looks at me and I see shock and fear cross his face. I can also see he is debating if he can close the door or not. "Let me in." I see him still debating it before he finally moves to the side and I walk in and stand in the middle of the room. I watch him slowly close the door and face it. He slowly turns and faces me. I cross my arms, "I want answers and I want them now." He looks down and I huff air out mad, "I think I deserve them." He nods and walks over to the bed and sits down with his head down and staring at the blanket.

I don't plan to be here long so I stay standing. I just want answers and then I am leaving. "I guess you want to know what happened." I scuff, "You know why I am here and what I want." He nods and sighs. "I was on a lunch date with her and she seen the picture of the kids on my phone. Turns out she loves kids and we were near your house so I figured we would stop by and she could see them. I seen Austin's car in the driveway so I pulled in behind it and we got out and walked to the house but no one answered. I figured you guys were out back so I open it with the spare key and we went in and checked outside and the kid's rooms. The twin's room was the last room we checked and she started to kiss me and I kissed her back and well..." I shake my head as the truth I knew all along is coming out, "You had sex in my house!" He shakes his head, "No." I tilt my head mad, "Don't lie to me." He shakes his head, "We didn't have sex. We came very close but we didn't. When I was fixing her shirt I must have ripped her necklace off by accident. It all happened in a matter of five minutes. We left and I locked the door back and took her home." I shake my head, "Why didn't you just tell me that?" He shrugs, "It looked really bad." I sigh, "Hell, it looked worse you running off and ignoring everyone for months. I am still very mad and it is still wrong what you did but making out is better than having sex in my house, in my children room. All really bad but this is better than what everyone thought." He nods and looks back at the bedspread. I shake my head, "Still pissed but I can at least live with this, if you had sex in my house uh." I shake a little and shake my head. He looks up at me, "So you can forgive me?" I shrug, "This I can forgive not right away but eventually yeah." He nods and I look down at my phone as it beeps, "Crap, I have to go but Aubrey has been asking about you. Quit hiding out." I turn on my heel and walk out the door and I hear a quiet thank you as I close the door and walk down the hallway and quickly outside and to my car.

I get in quickly and back out and put the car in drive as I race out of the parking lot and to the house. I pull into the driveway and I see Austin running out and he straps Aiden in and I back out of the driveway quickly and throw the car in drive as I rush down the street and around the corner heading to the hospital.
