Hospital and Errands

  

I pull into the parking lot and spot a parking spot up close immediately. I turn the car that way and pull into the spot. I throw the car in park and grab my keys and bag as I jump out. I run around and open the door and grab a crying Aiden out and take off to the entrance. I run in and look around. "Someone help me." I have three nurses run over to me as I move the jacket from over Aiden and they all look at Aiden and I look up and see this younger nurse gasp at me and I shake my head slightly and she moves her hand, "Follow me." I follow her down a short hallway and we are in a room. "What happened?" I shrug, "My fiancé said they were playing and he tripped and fell." She nods and looks at his cut and looks at me, "It just needs a few stitches. I can do them myself unless you would like a doctor..." I shake my head, "You can do it." I sit on the table and hold Aiden in my arms as she puts gloves on and starts to work on Aiden. I hum as a way to sooth him.

After a few minutes she stands up from the stool and smiles. "All done little man." He looks up at her with watery eyes. I look down at his head and see she cleaned it, stitched it and put a band-aid on it with Spiderman on it. I smile and look up at her as she throws her gloves away, "Thank you." She smiles, "No problem." I stand up and look at her, "Don't I need to fill out paperwork?" She looks back at me and shakes her head, "Nah, just go. I won't tell anyone it was nothing and no reason to put your name out there." I smile, "Thank you." She leans against the sink, "My daughter loves you and Austin and honestly I do too. I know you are trying to be careful right now and the paperwork is useless for a thing like this." I smile and look at her, "Thank you so much. Is there anything I can do?" She smiles, "Could I get a picture with you?" I look around and see we are in a plain room so no one would be able to tell where it was taken. I nod and place Aiden down. She stands next to me and I put my arm around her back and smile as she snaps the picture. "Thank you." I smile and pick Aiden back up, "Just please don't tell no one I was here." She nods, "Of course. I will tell my daughter I ran into at lunch." I smile and thank her again before throwing my jacket back over Aiden and moving down the short hallway and outside as quick as I can without drawing attention to ourselves. I reach the car and strap Aiden in. I place a kiss to his head making him smile at me before moving to the driver's side and starting the car. I back out quickly and drive through the parking lot and out on the road and start to drive home. I see Dairy Queen on the side and look back at Aiden, "You want ice cream baby?" He nods and smiles some. I pull into the parking lot and go to the drive-thru. I place an order for an Oreo blizzard, a snickers blizzard and two vanilla ice creams in cups. I pull up hand over cash and receive my change. I get my bag and mumble a thank you before driving up and leaving the drive-thru to go home.

I pull into the driveway and grab my bag, the ice cream and move around and get Aiden out. I walk up the two steps and open the door. I start to close the door when I see Austin slid into the hallway and sigh relieved to see Aiden on my hip. "He was okay?" I nod, "Just a few stitches." He nods, "He tripped on that stupid rug." I walk forward and hand him the bag as I drop my purse on the small table. "I am going to get rid of it tonight." He shakes his head as he digs through the bag, "Don't worry about it. I already took care of it." I smile, "Good." I walk into the living room and am hit in the legs by Aubrey running up to me, "Aiden okay?" I smile, "He is okay baby. Just a boo boo." She nods and I set him down and he follows me over to the table where Austin has set down and got the spoons and ice cream out. Aubrey squeals when she sees it and runs over jumping in Austin's lap making him let out a breath of air. I look at him, "You okay?" He nods and moves Aubrey over to his leg making me laugh. We all sit down and eat our ice cream before it becomes nap time and we put the kids to bed. I walk down the short hallway after checking on the sleeping twins. I sit down against the couch. Austin wraps his arms around me and pulls me into his chest and me sitting between his legs. "How did everything go?" I shrug, "Good, I guess." He nods, "So did he uh..." I shake my head, "He said he only made out with her and must have ripped her necklace off by accident when he was fixing her shirt." He nods and then looks at me, "That makes no sense." I shrug, "He said he came to visit and they looked couldn't find us, she kissed him he kissed back it got into a make out session and he fixed her shirt and they left." I feel his jaw move against my head as he kisses my head. "You think he is telling the truth?" I nod, "Yeah." He nods and places a kiss on my shoulder as I lean back into him and he rubs my arms with his hands.

After the kids wake up from their nap, Austin and I get them dressed to be ready to go get their clothes for the wedding. I take the twins to their car seats and Austin carries Aubrey and Aiden out. Once everyone is buckled in Austin and I get in the car and I start to drive to the dress shop to get their clothes. I ordered them online and today is the last day to pick them up. I planned on doing that after I left Alex's but something more important happened.

I pull into the parking lot and notice the twins are asleep. I look at Austin and he laughs, "I will stay here." I smile and lean over kissing him quickly before getting out and grabbing Aubrey and Aiden. I walk inside and smile at the lady, "I am here to pick up clothes I ordered online." She smiles at me, "Name?" I place Aubrey down and she holds onto my pants as I say, "Dawson." She types in something and smiles, "I will be right back." She comes out a second later and hands me four boxes. I look at her, "Can I try these two on before I leave?" She nods and shows me to the dressing room. I take them in and undress Aubrey and Aiden and put their wedding outfits on them. I look at how everything fits and smile before taking it off and placing their original clothes on. I walk out and smile, "Thank you everything fits perfect." She nods and I see she has bagged the other two boxes. "Would you like those in a bag as well?" I nod and hand her over the boxes and she places them in a bag before handing me both bags. "Have a good day." I nod, "You too." I walk out and put Aubrey in her seat and then walk around and put Aiden in his before putting the bags in the trunk. I walk to the driver's side and look at Austin who just smiles. I shake my head, "What?" He shakes his head, "Nothing." I look at him before sighing, "I have to make another stop. I can't believe you wanted to come with me to do this." He grabs my hand and shrugs, "I miss spending time with you and well it is my wedding too." I smile and turn to him before turning back to the road. I pull into the craft store and Austin actually gets out as well this time. He grabs a cart next to the car and grabs Adam's seat and place it in the cart and then walks around and gets Asher's and places in it the cart as well. I get Aiden on my hip and Aubrey holds my hand as we walk into the store. I grab a cart and Aiden sits up front and Aubrey in the back as I walk around trying to find what I need.

After finding what I needed and getting as much as I thought I would need I try to find Austin. Aubrey seen the kids craft isle and I walked down it and she and Aiden picked out a coloring book and Aubrey got new crayons. I found these new adult coloring books and bought one to try because it looked cool. I walk down a few more isles and find Austin in the photo albums. "What are you doing?" He jumps and looks at me, "I want one." I smile and walk closer and see it is a wedding one, "Wouldn't that be something for me to do?" He shrugs, "I get bored and I have seen some amazing photo albums from weddings and I want to try one on my own." I shrug, "Okay." He looks at me shocked, "Seriously?" I nod, "Yeah I will just get extra pictures and I will let you take a set and have a go at the album." He smiles wide and hugs me quickly before going through and finding the perfect album. His words not mine. We then went to the checkout and I paid as he took the kids out to the car to start putting them in. After I pay I walk out with the bags and open the door as I see a few flashes. I shake my head and buckle up before driving off.

Austin smiles at me and turns the radio on and starts to sing at the top of his lungs to the words making me want to frown and shake my head but making me smile and laugh before joining in with him. He can annoy me to no end but I love him and his little habits that make him who he is makes me smile and love him even more. I laugh as I pull into the driveway and he takes the twins inside. I place Aubrey down and get the bags and Aiden. Aiden whines a little so I place him down and they run off inside. "Be careful." I follow behind them. I close the door and carry the bags upstairs to our room. I place the bags with the clothes in my closet and place the craft bags on the floor. I turn and see Austin smiling at me. "Believe it or not, I had fun today." I smile and shrug, "It was just errands but..." He shakes his head, "I got to spend time with you and the kids without distractions or anyone else. I loved it." I smile and I feel him lean into me. I giggle as I feel my back hit the wall and he leans in and kisses me. We pull away when air is needed and he lays his forehead against mine, "And I love you." I smile, "I love you too." He smiles wide and looks down at my engagement ring, "Can you believe we will be married in just a few months?" I shake my head, "No but I couldn't be happier." He smiles, "Me either, I can't wait for you to be Mrs. Moon already." I smile and laugh before grabbing his hand, "Well come on Moon, we have kids to feed and entertain right now." He groans and then smiles wide, "Wouldn't want anything else."
