Look, I'm gonna be honest, I did not think I was gonna complete it. I first did it for shit and giggles, thinking that nobody would read this since the game is like not known for a good majority of the world. I planned to do a couple of chapters and then dip like I usually tend to do when I get bored but for some god forsaken reason, people started to demand that I continue, especially considering that the early chapter are so bad that a 13 year old could write better.

So I kept going until I realized "oh shit, they're not here for the cringy jokes" and I had to plan a goddamn story that I never intended to do at first, something that was once supposed to be an unfinished meme representation of the game turned into something I had to think about. Believe me, it wasn't supposed to be serious, you can tell with the early writing.

However, more people just kept asking so I continued, just trying to step between the landmines and praying that I could formulate some sort of coherent story for what was supposed to be something with no real meat behind it.

I struggled, that much was certain, it was the first time I had to truly think to make something properly and it was pain. Then, during the writing, Ruina came out and made some parts of my story completely incompatible with the series as a whole and I had to improvise in order to work with the source material. Which is why Y/N had "amnesia" of the outside world, since Lobotomy Corp. didn't really go into details about the City, I had nothing to write about but with Ruina coming out, it just forced me to think of a solution for why the main character never mentioned anything outside the facility.

This story is a mess and a half, a flaming disaster that was put on life support via some sort of miracle. Some ideas I had became irrelevant with Ruina and the planning of the story got confusing even for me, always going "what the hell am I supposed to do now?" after ending each chapter.

So for all of you reading this who wanted me to continue, fuck you, you gave me a headache equal to the one someone get during Day 49. I had to make a script that was never planned when I was already a quarter into the game. Now that it got to this point, I regret my early decision of making it a reader insert for the "haha cringy story" since it broke most of the tension and immersion but at that point it was too late so I just rolled with it.

So here we go, this was a botched attempt at making a Project Moon fanfic. I don't have much to say now so I'm gonna leave you with a nice pic of Alter Ego (thank you Picrew for existing for all of us talentless plebs), I'll see you all in the sequel, if you even bother considering it's made by me!
