In which one animatronic and one facility are both in desperate need of having their viruses purged for good. (Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach crossover. Takes place after the V.I.P. Ending.)

"M- Moon, please," I choke out, my heart desperately trying to hammer its way out of my chest. "Please, you- you don't have to hurt me." Even if I scream for help, no one can hear. Not Ashtem, not Gold Eye, not anyone.

He cocks his head to the side, his hand stilling on my cheek as his claws begin to dig into skin. "Don't I, though? You were so peaceful, sleeping like a good little child, but now..." His scowl deepens and he leans down, eyes fully purple as he hisses, "You're awake. And you're not going back to sleep."

My body acts out on an instinct I didn't even know I had. In two swift movements, I've pulled my fist back and swung it straight into Moon's face with a couple sickening pops and sharp pain.

"Ghck!" It fazes him long enough for me to clamber to my feet, and I lunge for the closet. "Where do you think you're going?!"

Just as I've got my hands on the doorknob, he grabs me by the collar of my coat and hauls me off the ground. "Did you think you could get away so easily?"

"Let me go! Moon, snap out of it!"

"Bad children must be punished," He snarls, though his expression twists into manic glee, bearing a wide grin as he cackles hysterically, "Heheheheheeeh!"

"MOON, ENOUGH!"

Moon and I both freeze. Him forced to, me in shock.

That wasn't me yelling.

His face-plate spins around- somehow his nightcap stays on- and two rays slide out on each side of his face. The screens of his eyes flicker, displaying irises that are orange like fire. In the dark, I can swear that the colors of his face-plate have changed, too.

"S- Sun?" I croak out, seeing the animatronic clearly struggling against something.

"Sun," Moon hisses furiously. "Get out of my way!"

"I am not letting you hurt him. I am done letting you hurt people, Moon!" Sun growls right back, and I feel his- their?- arms beginning to tremble with effort.

"That's it, Sun, you can do it. E- Eclipsing Moon was the hardest part, t- t- the rest is- it will come easier." My voice shakes from a mix of relief and lingering terror, because we're not out of the woods just yet.

"He must be punished, I must rip him to shreds!"

"No, you don't! You just think you do because of that motherfu-"

All at once, he manages to wrest back enough control to drop me onto the floor. I manage to get my feet under me to keep from hitting it too hard, and once I'm steady I slam the closet door open and flick on the light.

Thankfully, it's just enough. When I turn back, Sun is completely in control again, his eyes blank white as his expression twists in terror.

"Silver Eye, are you alright?! I- I am so sorry, I lost track of time and before I knew it Moon was out! And I had known he'd been overloaded by the virus, I should have told you!"

"Sun, please stop shouting," I breathe out, panting like I just ran a marathon.

He covers his mouth, murmuring, "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry..."

"Maybe we should stick one of those reading lights onto your face and shine it directly on you at all times." I don't know why I'm making a joke right now, that's usually Gold Eye's coping mechanism, but Sun snorts and I crack a grin, so why not?
