Small Tales of Terror

In which we see small tales of terror inspired by @Sabvrra 's Horror Stories in Two Sentences, that may or may not actually be terrifying or eerie. Or just two sentences.
(You should totally go and read Sabvrra's though, they're fantastic! Check the external link for the story part.)

1. I went with Valt to visit his grandmother last weekend, and as we walked through the halls I felt really uneasy gazing at all the eerie pictures. I asked Valt why she had so many portraits of anguished children, and he gave me a funny look.
"Shu, those aren't portraits. They're windows." He said simply, so I looked back and began to frown even more.
"So they are."

2. Every time Vanessa watches TV, her program always segues into a news report regarding her son, Theodore Glass. He seems perfectly fine and alive, but she knows that can't be- she drowned him when he was born.

3. Nobody knows this, but Sable Eye's incredible psychological-horror stories all come from real experience, from him torturing real people and then documenting their reactions. Speaking of which, he's going to need to go out and get more inspiration soon...

4. Xavier can never talk to Shu and Valt about Xander. They just get really squirmy and emotional, because for some reason they think his grandfather killed him.

5. Evel and Kyle don't like talking about what happened to Hyde after Phi beat him in their battle. Having to live with the puppet made from Hyde's corpse is hard enough.

6. After that last incident, Ashtem decided that no one was allowed to go in Black Eye's room anymore. He didn't want to scrape another kid off the walls.

7. "The tolling of the grandfather clock shouldn't scare you so much, Honcho."
"S-Sorry, it's just- when the grandfather clock back home tolls, that means it's time for the unicorn to be reborn, and sometimes I don't wake up in time to get my knife..."

8. Out in the country, there's an old wishing well that will kill anyone you ask it to in exchange for a single penny.
Wakiya can't wait to try it.

9. Gold Eye stepped into Ashtem's office, sucking in a deep breath when he saw him slumped over the desk. "A-Ashtem?!"
The teal-eyed man lifted his head, humming groggily to let Gold Eye know he was listening. The demon Blader sighed and put a hand on his chest, muttering.
"Thank the gods. I thought one of those brats out there killed you again."

10. This is another obscure fact: Hyde used to be a huge crybaby. Phi loved to set him off around their father, who always promised to give Hyde something to cry about if he didn't stop. That's why Hyde wears his jumpsuit- to hide all the scars from when he couldn't.

11. Wakiya laughed as the red-eyed Blader hid behind Valt, who was barely holding back a grin himself. "Really, Shu? You're afraid of Santa Claus? And here I thought I heard everything!"
Shu said nothing, peeking out from behind Valt and peering at the jolly, bearded man.

"You have to- you have to tell me why, Shu." Wakiya wheezed, leaning forward and slapping his hand on his knee. "Come on! Spill the beans!"
Santa suddenly turned his head to meet Shu's gaze, and underneath the white beard he could be seen grinning a big, Cheshire Cat smile with needle-like teeth.

12. There's a reason why Daigo has such a powerful aura of darkness around him. He's known to men of greed as the Shadow Man, and he always collects the debts- the lives he's owed. They don't know it, but the members of AS Gallus are in his debt since he turned the team around.

13. "I'm sorry it had to come to this, Free." Trad said with a smile, crushing the dying Blader's chest with his hand to keep him still. With his other hand, he raised the knife high. "But look at it this way- you can sleep forever now! I know how much you love to sleep."

14. Roktavor is a Bey modeled after Ragnarök, which is a great number of events that is- basically- akin to the end of the world. But don't worry, Roktavor will only honor its namesake very soon.

15. Everyone thinks the Snake Pit is a top-secret training facility for Beyblade, but that's only a cover story. It's really a trap and cage for young children with strong spirits, who are soon to be dinner for the cryptid that has disguised itself as a man named Ashtem.

16. "Wow, Suoh, those flowers you're growing are gorgeous!" Nika gasped softly, then Suoh hummed curiously as he found where she was looking.
"Oh, yes. Thank you." He smiled politely. "Those are the flowers from Fubuki's corpse."
"Um... Don't you mean for Fubuki's grave?"
"No. I mean from his corpse. As in, they're growing from his actual corpse. Haven't you wondered why they never found the body?"

17. "Shu, hun, didn't you only have one scar?" Chihaya Kurenai asked nervously, brushing back the bangs from Shu's right eye to reveal a two more scars on both sides of his first one.
"Yes, ma'am, but I wanted more."

18. There's a reason Ken hardly ever speaks with his real voice. Those who hear it are doomed to die.

19. "I'm surprised you all made it back from the Ghost Ship." Kristina said to the group of young Turbo Bladers standing before her. "After all, everyone who steps aboard it is supposed to die a horrible death. Maybe you all got lucky."

20. John wasn't sure what they brought back when they revived Rantaro after he was shot, but it sure as hell wasn't his son.

21. Valt sat down by the grave, sighing softly and setting the pink box filled with a delectable, chocolate and iced dessert on the grass. "Happy Father's day, you bastard, and here's your damn cake. Was it really worth being bludgeoned to death?"
A marred and mangled hand shot up out of the dirt, grabbing the box and dragging it under the ground. Valt rolled his eyes, looking away from the tombstone. "I guess that's a yes, then."

22. "What do you mean, we were triplets?" Hyde asked his father dubiously. "It's only ever been Phi and myself."
"Not in the womb. You had a third brother on the way, but when he was born we realized he wasn't good enough to carry the family name."
The Hades Blader swallowed fearfully, then he flinched when his father reached over and patted him on the head. "Don't worry, you and Phi will always be worthy- so long as you don't do anything you'll regret, that is."

23. Everyone was so surprised by how different Lui became after the exorcism. But the funny thing is, Shu's begun to act just like the old Lui.

24. "Red Eye's changed. He doesn't see reason anymore, and we can't make him." Silas huffed, and one by one, all of Valt's friends left him to his own devices. Valt sighed sadly, looking at his Bey that had been broken for the sixty-third time.
Then, he lifted his head and suddenly looked to you. "Hey, viewer, how many times are you going to rewatch this episode? When can I have my happy ending?"
You just restart the episode.

25. "Hey, this doesn't sound half bad!" Akira cheered, holding up the letter for Orochi to see. "It says that I'm being invited to stay in Joshua Burns' mansion for a horror movie they're filming- they need a new co-star!"
"You do know that's a scam, right?" Orochi asked, pulling his headphones off of his ears. "The horror is no joke, but the movie isn't real. Zac got the same letter, and I haven't seen him since they killed him on screen.
