Scream It Out

In which Shu is a famous rockstar everyone loves, but just as he's about to go on stage something unexpected and heart breaking happens... (Lowkey Kurt x Theodore.)

It was another big concert night, and the stadium was full of excited rock-and-roll fans eager to see their idol get on stage and belt his lungs out.
And Shu Glass was excited to go out and give his fans a show! He knew it would be a good one, for sure, especially because he knew his beloved Mina would be in the crowd cheering him on.

He had been dating her for almost nine whole months, and he was confident that she was the one because they were always so happy together, so at peace. He didn't have to be a bad boy rock star with her, he could be the soft and gentle soul he truly was. (Albeit, a soft and gentle soul that loved to scream.)

He was backstage, prepping for the show with all his usual gear. The leather jacket, the choker, his boots, and the good old eye shadow and eye liner. He knew how to apply it properly thanks to his mother, back when he was little and they played dress up together.

Mina had a backstage pass, so she was probably waiting for him out in the hall. When Shu finished applying his makeup he smiled, pushing himself up and going out to find her. He had a minute or two, and he felt a little 'good luck' peck on the cheeks would boost his performance tenfold.

He wandered out into the section of the backstage where most of the staff members were buzzing about, busy as bees. He could see the entrance to the stage on his left, and the walkway behind the stage's back curtain to the right. Theodore and Kurt were on the right entrance to the backstage, talking about something. Shu was too far away to know what, of course

Then he spotted a glimpse of blue hair nearby and smiled, taking one step forward before his smile fell and his eyes widened.

It was Mina, of course...

But she was making out with someone else.

Everything slowly grew a bit distorted while Shu watched them, eyes wide and dazed as his brain struggled to digest what they were seeing. The boy she was kissing was another fan garbed in a generic band t-shirt with slouching dark jeans, and as Mina's hands ran through his hair his hands ran down her sides, sending a wave of nausea through Shu.

They broke apart for breath, then Mina began to drag him away to somewhere private, paying no mind to her heartbroken boyfriend.

Shu let out a soft breath, stumbling back and ending up on an empty sofa meant for the backstage fans. He was still so dazed that when the producer came over and started speaking to him, he couldn't hear a word the woman said.

Somehow, though, her meaning still got through to him and he numbly pushed himself up, walking out onto the stage and standing behind the microphone. He still could hardly hear anything but sensed when the audience fell into silence.

He took the microphone into his hands but didn't remove it from the microphone stand, his eyes glazed over a bit as he tried to force his brain to work. But he couldn't- all he could do was move on autopilot as he kept thinking about Mina...

Why would she?...

The whole audience was silent as they watched their dazed idol try to function, wondering what had tripped up their usually rowdy leader. Theodore and Kurt watched as well, teal and red eyes flooded with concern and uncertainty- Theodore was barely restraining himself from going out on stage and making sure his son was okay...
