In which King Zac isn't particularly hungry at dinner, but he's certain that his handsome new guard is. With a bit of cunning, the King is certain he can charm his guard through his stomach. He just has to figure out how... (Zac x Shu.)

-----

There were a few knocks on the door, then a soft voice called through the door. "Your Majesty, dinner is ready."

The King occupying the room sighed softly, setting down his quill and rubbing his eyes. The King was a young man of eighteen, with cream-colored skin, silky blond hair that extended to his waist, and at the top of his head were two strands of reddish-orange hair, and eyes were electrifying light cyan eyes.

He was garbed in a simple black renaissance shirt with gold laces, a white vest with red embroidery, matching black breeches and black boots with gold laces. He was incredibly beautiful, adored by all the woman of the kingdom for his good looks and melodic voice.

"I'll be there in a moment... Thank you." He murmured.

He listened as the footsteps receded from the door, then he spared one last glance at all the trade treaties piled on his desk before standing up and heading for the door. He stepped out into the hall and looked to the side, smiling. "Hello, Shu."

"Greetings, Your Majesty." The guard standing at the door replied, bowing his head respectfully. This guard was newer than the others, much newer. Like, he'd actually only officially become a guard three weeks ago. He was doing an amazing job, though! He was always on alert and ready to give his life for his young King.

Not to say this guard was any older than the King. In fact, he was actually a few months younger- the King would turn nineteen long before Shu.

The interesting thing about Shu was he was an elf from the snowy mountains. Elves hardly ever left their mountains or interacted with humans, and inviting guests was a bit of a no-no over there. The elves also never used magic. It was a huge sin to them, and magic users were shunned and rejected by the elves, even if the magic was never used for nefarious purposes.

Shu was a bit of a marvel among elves because he was a skilled magic user himself, wielding red-hot fire magic. Because of this he had been outcasted when he was young and then exiled when he turned eighteen.

The King really didn't get elves.

"Would you accompany me to dinner, Shu?"

"Of course, Your Majesty." The guard nodded dutifully, then he walked beside his King, long, pointed ears twitching as he stayed on top of the area around them. No one would sneak up on the King with Shu beside him.

The King couldn't help but watch Shu out of the corner of his eye as he walked, admiring the incredibly gorgeous elf. All elves were pretty, but Shu really took the cake. His skin was beautiful, fair and pale from days without true sunlight. His hair was white like snow, mussed up in a way that was absolutely darling. His body, well, it was slender and lightly toned, but everyday Shu was gaining more muscle mass.

Unfortunately, it was hidden under the standard ash-black armor all guards wore, with the addition of Shu's cape. The cape was jet black and sooo silky-soft on the top, while the bottom and edges were lined with white, cloud-like fur from a mountain beast.

And gods, his eyes! The King could never get over those stunning, fabulous, mesmerizing fire-red eyes that always made the King melt on the inside.

In short, he had it bad for his elfin guard and by the gods, no one would tell him he couldn't marry this gorgeous creature made by the mighty hand of Valtryek!
