"Hey, Red Eye?" I hear Miss Aoi call from the kitchen, so I stop polishing Requiem and set it down on the coffee table.

"Yes, ma'am?" I call back.

"Could you go and get the mail for me? I forgot to do it earlier."

"Yes, ma'am." I push myself up, crossing to the front door and going outside. I head over to the mailbox, opening it up and peeking inside. There's only one mail, and it's for Valt from 'Zac the Sunrise'...

I go back inside, going to the kitchen and finding Miss Aoi. "The only mail is for Valt."

"Okay." She nods, smiling at me over her shoulder. "Thank you for checking the mail for me."

"No problem." I nod, then I hear the door open again and slam shut.

"I'm baaack!" Valt cheers as he slides into the kitchen. "And I got the eggs, milk and flour like you asked me!"

"Thank you, sweetie."

"Hey, Red Eye, mind helping me unload it?"

"No." I shake my head, setting the mail on the counter and following Valt to his car. He opens the back of it, and we both begin grabbing grocery bags. "Valt? Who's Zac the Sunrise?"

"Zac?" He questions, slowly beginning to smile. "Well, he's a super good friend of mine! We met when we were both younger, and we've been friends ever since."

"Oh, I see." I nod. He shuts the back of the car, then he hums thoughtfully. "Zac's a famous singer, too. And a member of the Supreme Five."

"... Famous singer?" I ask, beginning to head back to the house. Valt walks beside me, answering.

"Famous is what you call someone really well known. And a singer is someone who makes music with their own voice."

"... Um... What's music?..."

He smiles a little, opening the door for me. "I'll show you later." I nod and we go inside, taking the groceries to the kitchen. As we take them out of the bags and put them in the ice box, Valt suddenly asks. "Why did you wanna know, anyway?"

"Oh, well, you got a mail from Zac." I say, gesturing to where it lays on the counter.

"Huh, that's odd... Usually he calls to talk..." Valt murmurs. "Unless... It's an invitation to a party!" He chirps, setting down the egg carton and going to look at his mail. I pick up the carton and put it away, then I put the grocery bags in the trash as Valt opens the mail. "Hmm..." His eyes skim over the paper as he reads it, then he smiles. "Yeah! He's inviting me and my friends to a party this weekend!"

"Well, that's sweet of him." Miss Aoi comments as I tilt my head. "How late is it, though?"

"It's from five pm to eight." Valt answers, smiling brightly. "Can I go, Mom? Please?"

"Sure, sweetie, as long as you finish your chores Saturday."

"I will! thank you!" He looks it over, smiling even more. "And I can even invite my friends! Red Eye, let's ask Wakiya and the others to come along!"

"O... Kay?"

"C'mon, let's call 'em all here!"

So we do, and after a little bit everyone shows up and we go to Valt's room. The others are talking about how much fun and how exciting this party will be, but I still don't understand this...
