Happy Birthday!

In which the members of Beigoma Bey Club, plus Xander and Zac, try to set up a surprise party for a special, white-haired Blader. (Happy birthday, Lizzy!)

You: hey honcho you up? I need ur help
with somethin super important

Honcho: yeah, I'm up. what's goin' down

You: it's shu

You: today is his bday but he says he's
not gonna do anything special today

You: he's just gonna spend his day bey
training

You: i mean, its however he wants to
spend his day, but nothing special?
so that got me thinkin'

Honcho: that's a dangerous past time, Valt.
what were you thinkin'?

You: i wanna throw him a surprise
bday party, you know, like with cake
and streamers and stuff

You: but i need help with that, so i
thought, why don't we ALL throw
the surprise party?

Honcho: that sounds like a good plan!
let's do it! I'll tell the others and we'll
meet you at the bakery

You: okay, awesome. :D i'm gonna ask
Xander for help too

I text Xander the plan, waiting until he agrees to help before I giggle triumphantly. Soon enough, the doorbell rings and everyone is there. I let them in and we gather in the living room. "Okay, so-"

The doorbell rings again, cutting me short. "Oh... Hang on a moment." I go to the door and open it, smiling. "Heya, Zac."

"Hello, twinkle toes." He replies.

"What's up?" I ask, letting him in and following him.

"Well, you and I both know that it's Shu's birthday, right?" I nod. He continues, shrugging his shoulders and frowning. "I asked him what his plans were for his big day, but he said he was just going to train, and nothing else."

"Yeah, that's what he told me..." I mumble, then I perk up and add. "But you're right on time! We're having a meeting to plan a secret surprise party!"

"It's not a surprise if you yell about it, Valt!" Wakiya snaps from the living room.

"Ha, yeah, true..." I giggle sheepishly, going into the living room with Zac.

"I was hoping you were!" Zac says, smiling at us all. "Because he certainly needs something special today!"

"Yeah, it's not every day you get to celebrate your birthday!" Honcho adds.

"And it's Shu." Ken says through Besu, smiling a little. "He deserves a surprise on his big day, since he helps so many people!"

"Exactly." Daigo nods.

"He's just bein' too polite to ask for something special today because he doesn't want to bother anyone." Xander sighs softly. "That's just how Shu is."
