"If this is what you think is honest
Honestly,I think I'm gonna freak out
This isn't where I wanna be, wanna be
I think I'll let myself out
Cause I'm leaving the way I came in
With the mess I made
Tonight will be the one to set it off"-Both Sides of the Story, We Are The In Crowd

Harper approached the hospital wing with a small bunch of wildflowers she'd found along the black lake. Smiling when she saw Harry and Ron sitting beside the hospital bed of their bushy haired friend.
"Hello you two."
"Hello...."
"First a potion mix up and now this? Poor girl," Harper mused as she put her flowers in a vase beside Hermione's bed.
"Harper....remember how you saw me getting bit last year? Can you do that again?" Ron asked quietly.
Harper laughed slightly, "no, afraid it doesn't work like that." The boys hung their heads slightly, Harper sighed looking down at her hands. "I heard Sprout say the mandrakes are maturing...it can't be much longer."
"We have to figure out what's going on-"
"No no, you two stay out of all this. It's too dangerous. Whatever is going on is way above you. The professors know, things are being handled behind the scenes."
"But we can't wait, Hermione was attacked! It's not-"
"Boys," Harper raised a hand, her chest tightening.
Ron frowned slightly, "you had a vision a few months ago...don't you remember it?"
"No....most of the time you won't, according to Sybill. I've never really had one like that though, thankful your brother was around."
"How can you be friends with my brothers and not attempt to do something? What if Hogwarts gets shut down now?" Ron questioned with a scowl, Harry sat clenching and unclenching his hands.
"This isn't about being rebellious guys."
Ron frowned, "even though it is dangerous, our friend is hurt and we have to-"
"Stay put." Harry and Ron looked at Harper with scowls, "some how, some way you will end up involved. I realize that. But for now you need to focus on being...on being kids!"
The two nodded slowly, "it's not like we want to find danger...it just appears."
"I'm sure you don't."
The boys looked at their friend, wishing Hermione would sit up already, Harper smiled at them and sighed.
"How about some candy? I have my whole bag still from Honeydukes just rotting away."
The boys nodded slightly, "yeah...we'll meet you in the common room?" Harry offered.
***
I need to tell an adult, This is out of hand.
Harper jumped from her chair in the common room just as Ginny appeared and hurried up the girls stairs. She ran after the small girl and caught Ginny's dormitory door just as it was closing.
"Hey, Gin! Would you like to go to the kitchens together? I'm a bit peckish and everyone else is at the library."
Ginny scowled, figuring it was partially a lie. Fred and George never set foot in the library if they didn't have to, and wherever Harper was those two usually weren't far behind unless they were pulling a prank on someone. And besides, the twins used Harper as their homework guru, no way would they do their work without her nearby.
