With her back against the baluster, Donna held Angie closer to her chest as she sought a way around her. After all, it was no simple task to escape this woman's fiery temper. Perhaps she shouldn't have landed herself on her bad side with her comment to you.

Alcina's jaw clenched as she scowled at them with utter disdain. "What were you thinking? Could you have said nothing better?"

"I was informing her! What's the issue? She's bound to find out. If it didn't come from my mouth, it would've come from Bela or Mother Miranda!"

"She invited you to see the nursery, not to make her cry! How dare you add stress to her during a time like this! Do you not know how much has been weighing on her mind or how exhausted she's been?"

"I've apologized thrice! What more do you want me to say? Y/N needed to know that there's a chance that it could happen. It's quite normal. I mean, there is another hole to consider down there."

"I'm well aware of that, but you didn't need to share that with her."

"Shit happens," Angie snickered, recoiling when Alcina took another step toward her. "What do you expect when you're pushing a whole human out of you? For her, she'll have to do it twice. Sometimes women lose control and have accidents during the delivery. Imagine the horror on her face when she realizes that blood isn't the only thing that gets all over the sheets. We wouldn't want her to deal with that embarrassment along with her suffering, would we? I was only trying to help her."

"And I'll gladly have someone help you out of my castle."

"Aww, now don't be like that! You know I love her! Clearly not as much as you do because you'd kill me if I did, but in a different universe, she would've been my–"

"Donna," she warned, still seething and ready to hurl her irksome doll over the railing.

"―I was going to say she would've been my sister! Sheeeshlooo, you're so moody! Ever since she's been pregnant, you've been such a sourpuss. No jokes! No fun! It's no wonder she's so stressed."

"Leave, now."

"Fine! But I'm coming back! Y/N told me she'd let me make some pretty lil' dolls for that girly of yours. Wouldn't you know, she requested a couple of MY creations in their nursery. And Karl's got a special project in the works for your son."

"How marvelous, your dolls are going to petrify my daughter and Karl will entertain my son with a piece of scrap metal, hm? I think not."

"Don't worry, I won't make them scary. They'll be her friends. Perhaps I should make one for you so you'll loosen up more. Okay, see you later! Tell Y/N I'm sorry and that she has my love!"

Alcina watched Angie levitate over the railing and float down to the main floor, awaiting her master to catch up to her. She noted how Donna increased her pace, which filled Alcina with glowing satisfaction that she still had that intimidating effect on her. "I'll tell her the first part. Now, don't get lost, sister. It would be a shame if you disappeared before their birth."

Aimlessly twirling across the floor, Angie fell into a fit of half-crazed giggles and yelled up her, "Hey! Now that's a good joke! Just you wait and see, I'm going to be their most loved aunt!"

"You're the only aunt they have," Alcina whispered to herself with a shake of her head.

Spinning on her heel, she marched straight back into your former room, which was now fully complete. Her daughters got clever and designed one wall like the sky, with clouds painted overhead the adjacent twin beds. She had to admit that Karl had done an excellent job with building those himself. Along the other walls were gray and blue mountains, and thanks to Cassandra's artistic ability, she added a subtle, sanguine sunrise peeking over one summit.
