"Hi, I'm Bela Dimitrescu! Welcome to our channel! Today, we're doing the Spicy Food Challenge!"
"Excuse me?" Cassandra interrupted, sitting beside her in a metal folding chair. "If you're going to say 'our channel', then you need to mention our names. I matter, too."
"I never said you didn't. Dani! Stop moving the camera around!"
"It's misaligned! You know I don't like it when things are crooked!"
Bela sighed into her hands, regretting her decision of setting up a YouTube channel with her vexatious sisters. "I already had it lined up perfectly. You didn't need to adjust its angle."
"Remind me why we have five bags of these spicy chips again?" Casandra asked, opening each one at a time and pouring them into a giant, plastic bowl.
"That's the whole point of the challenge. We eat as many as we can without relying too heavily on water. Now, let's try this again." Bela turned toward the camera, flashing a bright smile. "Hi, I'm Bela Dimitrescu—"
"Why do you keep saying that?" Daniela piped up. "Our channel is called Trio Dimitrescu. You don't have to say our last name. It's redundant."
Bela slammed her hand on the tables. "Guys! Will you please let me get through the introduction without interrupting me? Then you can ask me a hundred annoying questions during the video."
"She's got a point," Cassandra said. "You could just say you're Bela and then introduce us?"
"This is our first video. I don't think it'll hurt for us to tell our viewers how our last name is pronounced."
Her sister snickered at her. "It's not like you're going to hear them mispronounce it in the comment section. Just misspell it."
Daniela slanted the camera one more time before taking her seat in between her sisters. "Alrighty! We're all set!"
Wait. Who will do all the editing again?" Cassandra asked aloud.
"Me," Bela said. "I'll do it. Now, let's begin! Welcome to our channel! I'm Bela!"
"I'm Cassandra!"
Daniela waved at the camera like she was greeting her favorite aunt. "And I'm Daniela!"
"We're going to start off with eating the spiciest chips known to humankind!"
"Five bags!"
Bela counted and placed several water bottles across the table for any of them to grab if necessary. "The goal is to eat these as fast as we can!"
Daniela took a chip and licked its corner, flicking her tongue. "What? I thought you said we have to eat as many as we can. What's this got to do with speed?"
Bela paused and turned to her. "Just do your best. Eat as many as you can. We'll start with that."
Cassandra stole the bowl from her sisters and had her arms around it, guarding it like a kid protecting their stash of candy. "I'll be the first one to try these spicy babies! Ready? And go!"
Daniela started the timer, watching her brunette sister stuff up to four chips at a time into her cheeks. "Uh, Cass? You might want to slow down a bit. That quantity is going to make you sick."
"Ow, ow!" A corner of a chip cut the roof of her mouth. Cassandra moved the bowl over to her sisters. "They have sharp edges. Be careful."
Daniela's apprehension rose like mercury in a thermometer. She bit off each of the three corners before munching down on one, absorbing all its wondrous spiciness. "Man, these have a kick to it. They've got the flavor of enchiladas."
