Harry: You tap your fingers on your knee, letting your stare trail up toward the ceiling as you hold your phone to your ear, waiting for an answer on the other end. After two more rings, your ears fill with a raspy accent, "Hello?" Your eyebrows furrow and you squeak, "This is (Y/N), I'm calling for-" You're interrupted, but a smile tugs at your lips when you hear him say, "(Y/N)! Hey! It's Harry. How are you, love?" You feel yourself getting all fuzzy over him, but you have to remind yourself that he's your friend's brother. You're not quite sure how she'd react to you having feelings about him. You didn't really call to talk to Harry, but you can't exactly complain. "I'm fine, actually. You?" You politely ask, but he ignores your question. A smile spreads across Harry's lips and he leans back in his chair, sighing into the phone, "You sound wonderful on the phone."
Liam: "And this...is Liam!" Your friend smiles, motioning toward her brother, who's older than her by a year. He spins around and flashes you a warn grin-nearly making your knees buckle. You wave to him and he curiously asks, "You're (Y/N), I'm assuming? I've heard about you before." You shyly nod, feeling a blush creep across your face. "Well, we're gonna go up to my room, if you need us..." Your friend trials off, attempting to tug you with her. She can tell you're crushing. When she's out of view, Liam sends you a flirty wink and says, "Good to know. I'm sure I'll need you."
Niall: Your friend's head, along with her brother's, snap up at the sound of the doorbell echoing throughout the nearly empty house. She sighs and drops her eyes back to her notebook, which is sprawled out in front of her. "Niall, that's (Y/N). You think you could go let her in?" She asks, trying to keep her focus on her studying. Niall jumps to his feet. For this, he doesn't need to be asked twice. He rushes down the stairs, and you can hear his footsteps approaching from behind the door. After raking his fingers through his hair so that it lies perfectly on his head, Niall tugs the door open with a wide grin. "Hey, (Y/N)!" He beams, stepping aside so you can slide in past him. "Hey, Niall," You greet him, with your back to him as he shuts the door. "Your sister's home, right?" You ask him. He nods and mumbles, "Yeah, she's upstairs." You take a step forward, headed for the stairs, but Niall grabs your hand before you can venture too far from him. "Listen, (Y/N), I'm...uh, I'm really glad you came over. It's-it's always good to see you."
Louis: "How's Lou?" You ask before taking a lick of your already melting ice cream cone. "Are you kidding me? I just broke up with my boyfriend and you're more interested in how my brother's doing?!" Your friend angrily snaps, tossing her cone into a trash can as she passes it, mumbling about how she isn't even hungry. "Sorry," You breathe, taking another lick at your ice cream, "Carry on with your break-up story." She sighs deeply and rolls her eyes before going on a long rant about her now ex-boyfriend and how she swears he never even loved her. "I'm sorry about all this..." You tell her, "He's not worth your anger, though." Your words are very sincere; however, your friend can tell that your mind is rather distant at the moment. She abruptly stops walking, planting her feet to the sidewalk beneath her. "I know your mind is somewhere else," She groans. A somewhat aggravated sigh leaves her lips and she tells you, "Louis is fine. He asked about you last night. He wanted to know when you'd be coming over next."
Zayn: "I forgot the only reason you invited me was to see my brother," Your friend teases, raising her eyebrows as you lean into Zayn's side. "Oh, c'mon!" You laugh, "You know that's not true. I want to see you, too." She shrugs and brushes past you to fall onto your couch, mumbling, "Whatever." You giggle as Zayn pecks the side of your face. "Don't worry about her," He whispers to you, "She's just jealous that I get more of your attention than she does." You jump slightly, startled, when you hear your friend shout from the couch, "I heard that!" You laugh and call back to her, "Stop being grumpy, girlie! Let me remind you that you're the one who said you were fine with me dating your brother."
