*** Evelynn POV ***
Stepping out of the shower, I make my way back to my room ready to sleep the entire day which is probably not a terrible idea. Pushing through the door I notice her lying on her bed staring at her phone.
"Enjoy the party?" I ask her.
"Evelynn-"
"Oh no," I groan to myself as I head straight for my bed, "What's up?" I braced myself for some scolding because I probably did something she didn't want me to do.
"You brought him here didn't you?"
I toss my towel onto the chair and drop down into the bed asking, "Why?"
"I know you got him back here because I saw him leave when I got back," then hearing her step closer. "I usually don't care what you do, or if you bring someone home but isn't this a bit-"
"A bit what?" I lift myself sit on the bed and stare at her, she looks pissed. "Do you mean to say that you cared what I did with him? Besides, he didn't exactly leave the party in the best of moods after your boy stepped on his toes."
"It-" she pulls her gaze away from me to take a deep breathe, "No I don't mind it just-"
"Then what?"
"You want me to say it out loud? Yes, I am a bit tipped off that you had to choose him of all people. I can't help but feel like you did it to spite me after I told you everything that had happened between me and him."
"Even when I tried my hardest to bridge the gap for both your sakes?"
"It's not about that." She crosses her arms over her middle. "How is this bridging anything other than your own agenda Evelynn?"
"Aren't you a bit too focused on someone that you aren't dating? Besides, even if the two of you were an item, you let that gap come between the two of you. But why blame me when you have someone for yourself and I already stated my interest."
"Don't assume when you barely know the full story."
The door slides open to reveal a very grumpy fox girl. "Hey babe."
"Shush," she transfers her glare to me, and then at Erica. "Why are the two of you bickering with each other?"
I gesture to Erica. "Someone's upset about her ex coming to college that she confronted just a minute ago and is making a big deal about it because I led him back to my room," then correcting myself, "Our room."
Ahri sighs, "Just... try to play nice," then looking at Erica. "And you? (Y/N) is your ex?"
"Yeah," she holds her stare. "The two of us have history. I grew up with him and dated him for the last two years before we split up because... because something happened between us and I regretted how I handled it."
"Meaning that I can make whatever decision I want because the two of you aren't anything of each other." I continue poking the bear.
"Evelynn," Ahri looks at me, "What's the point?"
"Getting her to admit that she is jealous of losing someone she once had? And on top of that already has a boyfriend?" I cross my arms. "Troy is a soft-spined idiot and wouldn't let her get near him anyway, she can vouch for that seeing as she barely gotten to say more than a few words to (Y/N)."
"It's not like that!" I can see embers in the air, she is losing her cool. "I used to care for him and I just want to be his friend and you are doing this purposefully to make it harder on me."
Ahri then asks, "Evelynn, why even do that?"
I stop the two of them. "How is this making it harder? If he's mine why would Troy give a fuck if the two of you spoke? The worst part is that we need to consider that dickhead, to begin with."
