***   Evelynn POV   ***

We've all gathered. All of us that are still here I guess. Every one of us that ever stepped into this group and all we can do is sit here quietly as the news was announced over the intercoms of someone...

"Is this how you celebrate someone's resurgence?" We all transfer our gazes to Juno who is standing at the very centre of the group with his hands dug deep into his pockets. "All of you grieved and grieved, and now that he is here it looks like you think someone dug up his grave to bring him back."

He chuckles as he sighs loudly before shooting all of us a stare. His gaze finally settles on Troy who is standing against the wall with his arms crossed.

"What about you?" He points at him. "What about you, Erica? Think that your boy here is excited that the person that caused you two to break up in the first place is back-"

"Juno," Troy speaks calmly. "What does it matter if he is back?"

"I can think of several reasons, all of them you'll hate."

Ahri lifts herself. "Juno... please, drop it already."

He rolls his eyes before lifting his hands up as if to show that he's going to give up. He spins around and drags his feet behind him as he heads straight for the nearest exit, he looks at all of us over his shoulder.

"He probably came here thinking you'd all be happy to see him again, I hope to whatever God is left in this fucked-up world that all of you show that you are happy. Otherwise, he'd wish he stayed there."

He leaves with those words and I nod slowly.

"Evelynn?" Akali's voice breaks the silence.

"He's right, you all know that. What happens if he sees any of us right now with the way we are sitting here?" I cross my arms over my middle. "But still I feel like all of you, I don't know if it will be as easy as hugging it out."

Kai'Sa drops down beside me. "He'll... I think we should just be happy that he is alive."

Seraphine adds to that. "We all mourned him, I don't know if it just as easy... what if we look him in the eye and we don't see the same person."

Ahri breathes out. "You don't survive the Void and come out as the same person, he will have changed... probably much stronger than he once was, probably..."

I lift my gaze to see her sitting on her lonesome. All of us came on our own and they at least did the decency to keep their partners out of this... to keep the people that have been clinging to them out of something that has nothing to do with them.

Erica asks. "Do we deserve that? To walk up to him and be happy that he is back? We've all given up on him months into it."

Troy glances at her. "Come on, be logical. You want to blame yourself for someone who lost himself in a place where people go to die forever. Kai'Sa spent those months looking for him endlessly and there wasn't ever a sign of him being alive."

Kai'Sa breathes out with a pained sigh. "He's still alive..."

I lift myself as I express my thoughts to all of them yet again. "You know... I never once believed that he got stuck in that place in an accident," my gaze settled on Troy.

He only shrugs at my stare as if to say that I am wrong for suspecting him, for suspecting him all this time but I never acted on it despite a part of me knowing better than wanting to believe that it was an accident.

And the rest? They haven't had anything to say.

We were all there.

There's a grave with his name on it... and we all dug it, together.

We mourned you, you bastard.

Why'd you keep us waiting? It's not your fault, but I can't pretend that I don't feel guilty for leaving you in a world with nothing but your own fears. But who are you now? Are you a shadow of your former self? Or are you more?

I am scared of the answer because nobody is ready to see what that hell has put you through.

I am just glad that through all that darkness, I could still see you when it mattered.
