At world's end and all that is left is the shadow swallowing it whole - but in my mind, I know... that it isn't my end. It is yours.
"Who is that?" I gesture to the girl that just walked into the group Akali and Kai'Sa are in.
"That's Sera. She takes her time doing anything but I am surprised she made it. A lot of times she doesn't show up because it has been rough a couple of week in a row with people starting fights and the groups just not mixing well."

The pink hair instantly joins with the other group that has gotten pretty big though I don't feel like trying to get a word in edgewise with a group that size. Especially if I say something stupid that just ends up pulling all their attention to me.
"Why? Do you like her?"
"I feel like you think I like anything with a pulse."
She smiles at me, "That's probably not far from the truth, I mean at least you'd prefer something with a pulse. I could be the perfect little wing woman you never knew you needed. Besides. Erica and Seraphine are pretty similar in a few ways so I thought that would be a little bit closer to your type."
"My type?"
"You have a type, unless your type is any woman that would speak to you."
I lift my shoulders. "Wouldn't that just mean I am pretty easy?"
"It could mean you don't fuss about anything, or you would take any girl that would look your way."
"It isn't unreasonable." I can't help but share in her laughter.
She then shakes her head, "Hmm - I guess I will have you all figured out once you have spent enough time with them. But that just brings me to another question, are you just going to ignore Erica?"
"Probably. not. Hard to find an opening."
She chuckles, "I could do that for you, make some space for you to come in and swoop her up in those arms of yours, and then we learn the hard way if she still thinks of you the same way as you hope she does."
I watch her with a narrowed gaze. "I don't care what happens between the two of us. Besides doing that would just cause more problems than anyone needs. I feel like you just like causing chaos."
"I'm just a little demon," she expresses with a smirk. "I was serious. I could help you out."
"Probably not worth the effort, I will manage on my own."
"It is your call. I am going to go do something and then call it a night, feel free to disappear from here whenever you feel like it."
"Just like that?" Evelynn disappears into the crowd without uttering a word, what is that woman up to?
I pull out my phone and answer my texts. I forgot about them for a second, just a bunch of checkups from Sam. She doesn't act it but she is close with me and used to talk about everything that I could help with.
Mom, on the other hand, is more focused on my progression and making sure I know how to use my power properly... I am not far from perfecting it but all I need is to find the best way to go about it to be the best I can be.
