Shadows of our end - KDA x Male Reader (Original)

Act 1 - 044

I wake up at the same time as I usually wake up. Though without the ability to properly move my body the way I want to.  If I scoot a little backwards then I am off the side of the bed any more forwards... well it is pretty obvious.

Slowly blinking to get my senses in order I am just met with her soft breathing - how the fuck did she manage to hog most of the bed? Or is this how we fell asleep? I managed to turn onto my other side.

The face opposite mine is sleeping soundly with a peaceful expression - I feel myself smiling before trying to untangle my legs from her soft and smooth legs, lifting the covers to get out and not bother her I am flashed her underwear and most of her waist and stomach

I get out and put the covers back over her - so much for wearing a shirt. At least she didn't sleep the rest of her clothes off her body. I can't decide if she is a gentle sleeper or one that just never fucking stops moving.

I didn't wake up and that could be because she put me to sleep. No point thinking about it when all that matters is that I slept well and comfortably. I guess she is just as happy to sleep.

I clean myself up in the shared bathrooms, I head back to the room to see Rey has also woken up. She is rubbing the side of her face, she is incredibly shit at waking up so she has to spend minutes just blankly staring in front of her to realize that she woke up.

I get dressed for my day and wait out the front of the dorm for everyone else to show up so that we can go to classes, we have to group up with the other team today because we are going to do the raid tomorrow morning.

Kat is the first to get out, "Morning~"

She hops down right beside me, "Morning," she rests her head against my shoulder, "Nobody here can wake up properly huh?"

"Hmmmm."

"You looked so full of energy just a second ago."

"Hmmmm."

I shake my head as Skye is the next one just shortly after her. "She didn't sleep at all last night," she says in a soft tone. "Kept me awake."

"Morning."

She returns the greeting with a nod as Kat groans, "Why couldn't it just be today? I am so bored of classes and having to wait. I just want to use my powers the way they are supposed to be used."

"You'll get the chance."

She then lifts her head, "And you need to make sure you keep out of trouble."

"Will do my best," I give her a confident stare.

"You better!"

Griff and Valk walk out together, "Morning," they both say but they look equally as tired as the rest.

"Let me guess, Kat kept you awake?"

She glares at me, "I wasn't in their room."

"Could be in yours."

"Skye wouldn't let that happen."

Griff yawns, "No we were just busy playing games on our academy-issued laptops - the internet in this place is fucking fast and there was no way I was going to pass up on the possibility of having to play games."

Valk then adds, "And he dragged me along because he can't be the only one that gets in trouble because of it."

"You played the longest."

"Not my fault I enjoyed it."

I roll my eyes as I state, "Get some sleep tonight - we are going to need all our energy for what comes tomorrow."
