Been busting my ass training the past few days. I feel like I am getting closer to learning how to use my abilities properly but every time I try to do something it just falls flat on its face. I can't even stop myself from looking pissed and frustrated because it just feels like I am not getting better.

"Hey," I hear Akane, "You look upset."

"Just pissed," I say as I drop down from my stance to do pushups, "What's...up?" I groan.

"What are you doing?"

"Training."

"No, but... why pushups?"

"If I don't get something done I punish myself with a full set."

"Why..."

"How mom used to train me," I state. "I hate pushups," and I have been busy for hours now - my biceps and shoulders are starting to kill me and I might just pull one trying to figure out what the fuck I am doing.

He then sits down next to me with crossed legs, "Heard you got a job for us."

"Waiting for the all good because they are making sure it isn't just a bad job that will get us killed."

"That's good," he nods, "I am kind of itching to get out there. I haven't been doing all of this practising and would love to try this new thing where I can project my attacks so I become a ranged swordsman! Like how in Anime you slice the air and the leaf in the distance gets cut open by the momentum!"

I fall on my chin, and with a groan I roll over as I ask him, "I guess I ain't going to get any training done if you are talking my ear off."

"Sorry."

"You look like you are in a good mood," then again it's been three days since I talked with Rey, something might have happened already.

"I am?"

I arch my eyebrow at him, "Yeah."

"I think... yeah I am pretty happy right now," he smiles widely at me.

"Good for you," I shut my eyes trying to get some rest.

"Aren't you going to ask me?" he sounds disappointed.

"Nah."

"Why not?"

"Because I think I know why and I don't want someone to brag to me about not being single anymore."

"I-I didn't-"

I scoff, "Yeah yeah."

"How'd you..."

"I don't know anything," I lift my head and stick my arms behind them.

He laughs, "Alright," then after a short silence he cracks, "She did ask me."

"Was it that hard to just tell me?"

"You seriously don't sound excited for me at all."

"I'm still single."

"Oh... right."

I snort, "Just enjoy it.  I don't know why you need me to be proud of you," then rolling over on my stomach, "Though, I am going, to be honest with you. this training arc of mine is killing my spirit and I need something to happen soon."

"What do you mean?"

"Just not getting anywhere," I groan. "My mom can't come to help train me because she is still busy with her job and said she can't do anything for a while now. Everyone here has a trainer and I am stuck figuring out what I need to do."
