"Managed to dress yourself properly?" Ashe asks as she heads straight for the door. I turn to face her to see her pull the hood over her head from the cropped hoodie. Which is just sleeves and a hood.

"Hiding ourselves out there?" I ask her.

"You do know that I rarely go outside, I don't like looking at people."

"Says the doctor."

"Call me shy and anxious," she crosses her arms as she peers through the window. "Besides I hardly get the chance to 'dress up' and go on outings. I should enjoy our little field trip even though we are in hiding."

I walk up to her and she opens the door, she looks me dead in the eye as she moves closer. "Hardly any time to breathe, feel sorry for all the people around me because I don't feel like I've been giving them any time."

"Now's the time," she kisses me and leaves the room. "Come on. Time to meet those people you've just talked about."

I leave after her and shut the door behind us. I dig my hands in my pockets only to see a creature approach the two of us out of the corner of my eye, I almost jump out of my skin at the sight. On pure instinct alone I launched an attack that stops short of its throat.

"I am pleased to see you are alive and well, Dread."

I shut my eyes and chuckle at his casual remark, "Surprised to see that you are more than a shadow of yourself, Memory." I back down and calm myself. "Does this mean you are beyond your old self?"

He turns around to stare at the world around us. "I suppose I still have some growing to do, but I am quite pleased to be more than just that. This means I will be of much more use to you and I'll be able to do more than what I was previously able to."

Ashe breathes out, "He was just as worried as the rest of us, he doesn't look like it but when he freaks out, he freaks out like how you get those chest pains and thinks that it is your time to go."

He glances at her. "I had faith that he'd survive."

"Hm mhm. I can see through those... yeah."

I shake my head at the conversation. "Then where does this leave us, Memory?"

"I am your Nightmare as much as you were the one that 'created' me before. Though as much as it is convoluted I suppose that we take it as it is and push on forward because I fear that Despair will not wait long for you to make your move before his Nightmares come after us again."

Ashe crosses her arms, "So you are supposed to represent Dread? A feeling similar to Despair but close enough to not be derived from one another. So that in a sense neither of you stand to gain anything from each other."

I glance at her and Memory informs her, "Ashe insisted that if someone were to know then it should at least be her and your family."

I nod, "In a sense, yes."

She gestures for us to start walking, "Talk on the way there, no point standing here to discuss what we know. Anyway, I took Memory and it took some convincing for them to trust him but we already made it clear how this works."

"They all are aware of the Nightmares?" I ask.

"They are now," she gestures at Memory. "Though Azreal is still our current threat, there has been speculation around the two of you and planning made around how we should proceed after giving you some time to find yourself."

Memory adds after her, "Our current understanding is that you need Nightmares to face off against Despair because through us you will gain more power and through you we can become stronger and grow beyond the mortal limit. You've been given a chance to ascend through me and Despair himself saught to it."
