"Feeling weird?" I watch her write stuff down on her desk.

"What classifies as weird?"

Ashe then begins. "Feeling depressed, weak in the knees, heart palpitations, shaky limbs, intense headache, fever, stomach pains, overly horny, delirium, sleepiness wait that one is me... thirsty hungry, overly horny-"

Interrupting her, "Already mentioned that one."

She looks around at me, "Third-trimester cramping?"

"I feel normal."

"Then there is nothing to worry about," she then turns in her chair leaning back into it, "Psyche wise you are in a good place and none of my little alterations damaged anything and you will wake up with a clear memory of what happened today."

"That one sounds important."

"Oh, it is - for my safety and yours," then pulling a small tablet to her lap she goes through it, "Lauren mentioned a couple of things I need to look out for but you don't need to worry about the details."

"Then why mention it?"

"Was talking to myself to remind myself," she nods, "Don't listen to a word I say unless I make eye contact."

"A rambling part?"

"Need to ramble to keep the tired hamster in my head from stopping - then again I don't have a filter nor a lid which also violates the codes of ethics that I swore I will uphold both in my university and the moment I was hired to work here."

"Like dressing properly?"

"You already saw ninety percent of my body and you are the only unlucky bastard that is stuck with me - Therapy sessions are only open if Lauren writes them to be stuck with me so I can dress how I want."

Rubbing the bridge of my nose, "Won't see me complaining."

"From a medical standpoint - that means you are healthy and there is nothing wrong with you. From a personal standpoint - my sister will probably kill me and then kill you, then use her fucked up magic to force us to recover from our mortal wounds and relive the pain again."

"What a lovely relationship."

She looks up at me, "It is a good one - I love my sister dearly and I just annoy her slightly. It has a balance to it."

"Working together probably does that."

She nods, "And the fact that my personality clashes with her more reserved one."

I shake my head, "I think the two of you have hints of the same personality - I just think Lauren knows better than to say it and you just don't have that control over your tongue."

"I can do a lot more than just talking with my tongue," she says deadpan, "So the argument is moot. I built a psyche report and sent it to your e-mail. You can have a look at it to see what your brain looks like and if you suddenly suffer from amnesia I can use it to reconstruct most of it."

I then stopped her, "Which means you weren't honest about your power."

"Never told you my power," she counters.

"Would you?"

She shakes her head, "That's dangerous - if you knew how it worked that means if you one day turn into a monster and I need to use it to stop you then you would render me useless and I will die an idiot."

I chuckle, "I don't I'd ever let that happen."

"Neither would Kiriko," she crosses her legs, "I will continue to monitor your brain and emotions once a week same time as now - this is more a precaution than anything else to make sure we have full control over it when you reach your current virtual limit."
