At world's end and all that is left is the shadow swallowing it whole - but in my mind, I know... that it isn't my end. It is yours.
The days go on from there. From our outside perspective, it looks like Rey and Akane are getting along quite nicely but none of us is going to comment on it for the sake of not making it awkward or just making her think he is only doing it because we are reassuring him.
From lessons to practice, it feels like there is never enough time during the day.
I am on my way to the usual place to see if I can find Eve because after the night I came back I didn't have much time for her after that. I step back into the courtyard only to be stopped by a friendly smile.
"Heya. Are you looking for Eve?"
I nod, "Hey, Kai'Sa. And yeah, is she here?"
She shakes her head. "Just chased Juno away a couple of moments ago so you won't see her for a few hours," she then asks. "Want to hang out with us though?"
I glance past her to see that Erica is amongst the us that she is asking me to hang out with and her boyfriend is there as well. At that point, it would be me just picking a fight but Kai'Sa invited me so I doubt they'd start shit.
Hope so.
"Can do."
She widens her smile, "Cool, are you and Evelynn dating?"
I chuckle, "Didn't even hesitate to ask."
"You two hang out pretty much exclusively but then again you probably don't get as much chance to hang out with the rest of us so we can't say much."
I shake my head, "No the two of us aren't like that."
"Okie," she then asks, "Is it fine though? With Erica being in the group it just only just crossed my mind," she slows her pace.
"Don't mind as long as I don't have to actively hold a conversation with Troy."
"If you don't want to then we could hang out later. I am planning to get some training myself and don't mind having a partner that isn't Akali because she's been pushing all of way past our limits because she forgets that she is a beast when it comes down to it."
"What's wrong with Akali?" I ask her.
"She takes training very very seriously and you can hardly get a word in with her edgewise," she giggles. "If you ever train with her you'll either admire her tenacity and want to be stronger even more. That and she's pretty bossy."
"I could tag along."
We join the group, "Hey guys, got (Y/N) to tag along if none of you minds?"
Akali answers instantly, "Don't care," then looking at Troy, "Troy?"
"As long as he doesn't end up being a little bitch."
Erica glares at him. "Smooth Troy, way to keep it neutral," she then looks at me, "I don't mind."
Riven then smiles at me, "Not going to start complaining now."
Then there is another person watching me, "Who is this?"
Kai'Sa starts. "Arena Champion... did you not... never mind. His name is (Y/N) and he is the Champion that Evelynn got her hands on before anyone else could claim him as a footstool."
