"Hey," Ahri sides next to me. "Borrow you for a second before we join the rest of the group and I never get to talk to you setting me back years of progress?"
I chuckle, "Sure," then looking at Rey, "Will join up with you later?"
"Sure," she nods, "I am going to meet up with the others and I see you two at the usual meet-up. Well... the new meet-up?"
Ahri nods, "Would love to see you there."
The two of us then stop by the outdoor benches, "Setting you back a couple of years?" I arch my brow at her.
"Wanted to talk about the raid that is coming up. We got the first pick due to being nudged out of last year's raid. So I am doing your group a massive favour getting you into this one to get some easy credits and quick ranking in the system."
"Making it sound like it is hard."
She nods, "It... yeah they are pretty hard," then with a smile, "But figured seeing how close you have gotten with everyone that it would be a missed opportunity to not merge our groups."
She then quickly adds. "I don't want to be in charge of your group I just think this could help you guys a lot, besides, with what happened I think that you all need something to break the ice better than what happened last time."
I return the smile. "I appreciate it - is there anything I need to remember on my part?"
Shaking her head, "Not yet, nope. The thing is my team is pretty sizeable when compared to yours so we will be fine - you might meet the others that you haven't crossed paths with but we are planning on going a week from now."
"Will be ready."
"Awesome," she cocks her head, "How fares training?"
"Harder than I expected it to be," I glance down at my hands, "Been going at it pretty hard, just like I usually did before coming here but having someone directing me helps quite a bit to get ahead."
She nods, "You'll get it together, I have a good feeling about you."
"You probably won't say that if you see how much I am struggling in my training sessions," then again my mother is a freak of nature and her stamina is just... I don't know how she has that much stamina.
"Don't be so hard on yourself," then glancing up at the leaves above, "We all here have had a year to get stronger - something will happen that will skyrocket your ability and I just know that when you find it you can probably easily get above the six-star bracket by the end of the year."
"Oh," she then suggests, "Train with Akali - she has no magical power and she is keeping up with eight stars."
I nod, "I did train with Kai'Sa and Akali once... save to say that I am probably not near their stamina and endurance levels," I chuckle, "Then again I only got into shape a year ago."
She then teases me, "Were you a little lazy?"
"Yeah," I laugh at myself, "Maybe a little more than just a little."
"Also heard from Erica that you never had powers growing up," she then twists her lips to the side, "Meaning you also got it recently, right?"
I nod, "Reason why I am a bit behind everyone else."
"Then you better catch up," she smirks, "Anyway - can I ask something personal?"
"Go for it," I nod.
She then lowers her gaze while crossing her ankles, "I want to go through dealing with Erica and Troy-"
