Jessica-"Where's he at mom?"
Lauren-"Back by the showers hun".
She goes and finds Nick crying his eyes out
Jessica-"Dad". (hugs him)
Nick-"She's gone baby, she's gone!"
Jessica-"I know, Uncle Aaron called me". (hugs him tight)
Nick-"What am I gonna do?"
Jessica-"It's up to you, we either go do a show or we postpone it".
Nick-"I need to sing it's the only way I know how to".
Jessica-"How about we postpone tonight then continue?"
Nick-"No baby I need to go out there, do you wanna sing tonight?"
Jessica-"If you are I will". (smiles)
A couple hours earlier
Jessica-(phone rings) "Hello?"
Aaron-"Hey cutie". (sighs)
Jessica-"Hey Uncle Aaron everything okay?"
Aaron-"Jess, Aunt Leslie passed away".
Jessica-"What?!"
Aaron-"Grandpa found her at his house passed out, she wasn't breathing".
Jessica-"Oh my gosh, did anyone call my dad?"
Aaron-"Grandpa just did, do what you guys need to do okay".
Jessica-"Alright Uncle Aaron, I gotta go find my dad he's inside the building we have a show tonight".
She hangs up then goes to find Nick
Back to present time
Lauren-"You guys still doing it then?"
Nick-"Yeah". (sniffles)
Train-"Well iff you guys are Jess, you'e on in ten".
Jessica-"Alright". (heads to stage)
She heads to the stage, she is opening for Nick, her and the boys took some time off after the last tour and she recorded a solo album and Nick asked her if he would open for him on his solo tour for his album, she heads out and does her set, she can hear fans saying sorry about Leslie, news spreads fast, she heads backstage and says a prayer with Nick then he goes and does his set, after the show is done they go to the bus, Jessica goes to her bunk for the night all Nick can do is cry while Lauren is comforting him
Lauren-"I can't believe your dad said that".
Nick-"And he wonders why I won't be at the funeral".
Lauren-"Have to talked to Jes yet?"
Nick-"Only when she found me by the showers other than that I haven't".
Lauren-"Well you should, she's been through a lot this pass year". (kisses his head)
Nick goes to Jessicas bunk and opens the curtain she is there writing in her notebook
Nick-"Mind if I come in?"
Jessica-(scoots over) "Nope".
Nick-"You okay?"
Jessica-"Yeah dad I'm just shocked that's all".
Nick-"I am too sweetie, god I wish I could've done more". (tears up)
Jessica-"Dad you offered her help and she didn't want it". (hugs him)
Nick-"I'm not going to the funeral, you can go if you want to though".
Jessica-"Are you kidding I am not dealing with them if you aren't there with me".
Nick-"That's why I'm not going baby". (kisses her head)
Jessica-"Cody called he sends his condolences".
Nick-"Any word on your mom?"
Jessica-"My mom is out in the lounge thank you very much".
Nick-(sighs) "You know what I mean".
Jessica-"Cody said she called him the other day, drunk saying things". (sighs)
Nick-"I hope she gets help".
Jessica-"Same here".
Nick-"I'm gonna get ready for bed baby".
Jessica-"Okay, I'm gonna head to bed love you".
Nick-"Love you too". (kisses her head)
Nick then leaves her bunk, him and Lauren get ready for bed, his phone is blowing up texts from the boys asking if he's okay, after he texts or calls them him and Lauren head to bed
Also if wondering why Jessica is calling Lauren mom, Nick won the custody battle and Lauren adopted Jessica
