"SHE WHAT?!" Ruby bellowed, causing everyone else in the room to shrink back a little, even Glory.

"Well, you can't exactly blame her. After all, her friends are in that group." Glory pointed out.

"That doesn't excuse anything!" Snowfall piped up.
"She of all dragons should know by now that anything related to the Heathens is no good!"

"Snowfall, you're forgetting that the Heathens are the ones who saved her kingdom from being destroyed," Thorn added.

"AND THEY'VE DEMOLISHED FOUR OTHER ONES!" Snowfall rebutted.
"And let's also not forget that they saved the kingdom by GENOCIDING an ENTIRE TRIBE!"
There was a small moment of silence before she spoke up again.
"Hazel may be young, but she's not THAT stupid. My guess is there's something else at play for her to just abandon us and essentially join the Heathens."

"Maybe so, but there's no point bickering over it now, is there?" Glory stated.
"Moorhen and Coral are dead, along with multiple dragons who were dear to us..." She sniffled slightly.
"Our top priority is to find the remaining Heathens as soon as possible. Besides, Hazel will be with them, so we can question her motives afterwards."

Glory looked around the room. This was where the Heathens, plus some of the runaway students, were previously staying before they all vanished.
The room was essentially empty with nothing but hard wooden floors and a thin but not very comfortable rug near the doorstep.

The area inside was unfurnished and honestly not very spacious. A few leaves tumbled around as a small drifting breeze made its way inside.
"Are we sure this is where they all were?" Thorn asked.

Glory nodded.
"I watched Hazel enter the room and caught glimpses of the other dragons. This is definitely it."

"Well, it's no surprise they left then, I mean, look at this place!" Thorn gestured to the empty room.
"There's literally NOTHING here! Not even a table or chair!"

"It was the only room in the Rainwing kingdom that could fit them all." Glory explained.
"They were a rather large group after all,"

"I still feel like there could have been a better way to keep them from leaving, in which having a comfortable place to stay MAY have been helpful." Thorn fired a shot towards Glory.

The Rainwing queen rolled her eyes.
"Yeah, well, bit late for that, isn't it?"

Thorn let out a small growl of annoyance but soon dropped the topic.
"Whatever," She turned to Ruby.
"Any ideas on where they could've possibly gone?"

"Not that I'm aware of," Ruby replied.
"There aren't any places to really go? If I'm being honest, they're wanted in pretty every kingdom on the continent."

"That's true..." Thorn pondered.
"Then where would they run off to?"

Snowfall gritted her teeth.
"Wherever they went doesn't matter. The only thing that matters is ensuring they don't get far."

"Right~ and just how do we plan on doing that if we have no idea where they went?" Glory spat.
"It's not like we can just track their every move."

Suddenly, an oddly strong and almost supernatural gust of wind burst through the door.
Snowfall and Glory accidentally caught the gust in their wings, causing them to topple over like towers.

Thorn and Ruby held out a bit longer, but eventually, they, too, were knocked over.
Thorn collapsed face-first on the wood while Ruby soon joined her, falling directly on top of the Sandwing queen.

All four queens were pushed back towards the end of the room, where they bundled up on the floor.

"So you want to find the Heathens, huh?"
A small, sinister chuckle made its way through the air.
"We can help with that..."
